  1. mmmmm rotary... would be trippy seeing it rolling up next to you and hearing it bwarping away.
  2. so wheres the video of this thing driving?
  3. original tires?? I would hazard a guess that noone would think any less of him if he felt the need to change them, oh the spongeyness of 33year old tires :P
  4. thats turning out to be a very nice kesev mate. where did u get those rims? i havent seen them before. do you get an scrubbing in the arse end??
  5. If someone had the money to start with it could be a bit of a money spinner. can't be a whole lot to get those over here and resale would be quite profitable.
  6. Lol. Yeah why speed for? its a nice cruise around there, especially when your concentrating on making hectic V8 noises :)
  7. haha is that the mothership coming in to land in the bottom left photo? :D good luck with your sale mate, looks like a nice little package.
  8. its the same, its still compressing to 50% of its original length/height?
  9. amongst all the flaming (and I'm sure to cop some too) when i put my king springs in my kesev the front was still an inch too high for me. When i arrived home the next day my old man had cut a coil off the top of them as you would with normal stock springs. The ride height is what i wanted and i don't go pushing the car so i have not noticed any difference. They do drop down when the front is jacked up but i just lower it half way down and make sure they are seated correctly before lowering her all the way down. as i said it wasnt the right thing to do but it was done. Its been like that for 3 years and i havent felt any negatives from doing it. Its not a matter of being tight about doing things right, lack of knowledge played a factor. and thats about it.
  10. i was waiting for the flaming but none came? not a hard or complicated but I'm sure there are like 1000 how to guides etc.
  11. i hear you, i got arseholed at my last job (dish pig at a cafe) because i turned 18. So i left, i still go past often and talk to the wait staff and they keep asking me to come back because the others are hopeless and take longer. And on the P plate issue. Guy use to do that at our school and he'd leave them on his back seat. Until he left it unlocked one day and we shoved all (i'd say 50ish) the plates where ever we could fit them inside and out. He soon stopped. Women in generally shit me most of the time. Another pet hate is those people who jump out in front of you when your at speed and there is NOONE behind you. then they continue to take 13years to get to speed . Another issue I'm having is with people driving 60km's through the 60km zone, then continuing through the 80km zone at 60kms and then into the 50km area at 60km's. Like COME ON god gave us a right foot so we can use it.
  12. Sorry to be off topic. Just wanted to say I'm impressed by how you guys sorted out your points of conflict and moved on for the sake of the thread. Your points were made and you acted like men and not like keyboard warriors who make for a comical reading but make public forums less desirable. Congrats guys.
  13. lol but i dunno if i'd be proud to have found a mouse in my undie draw... that died as a result of being in that very draw...
  14. sweet looking ride dude. Much congrats. i also lol'd at the number plate, its like a macdonalds tray
  15. Yeah i ment the cluster, my bad. And from memory there are screws behind the vents or something, just be major careful when taking things apart cos they get real brittle and hard to get good plastics espec dash top :D
  16. Both conversions have been done numerous times, search around and you'll find plenty of info. I can't really help with specs or comparisons but some of what you'll read is personal opinion etc so have a read and make your own decision. Also set yourself a realistic budget and ask yourself what you want the car to be for? and if you need to build a weapon if really its only a daily. my 2cents
  17. mate its looking good. Ive always wanted the twin headlight setup. Keep us updated.
  18. I dunno about the other '83 rolla's but there is plenty of room in my Kesev to drive comfortably as well as in my sisters ae82, but each to their own. Good luck finding a dash in that condition, you may be in luck. And not sure if it was answered before but the plugs etc for the tacho dash are all there.
  19. looks alright dude. Looks even better because of what u paid for it. Where u from?
