haha I'm in NZ boarding atm and the cars are preminently caked with ice. Some dickheads even drive with the windscreens iced over, just a small spot infront of their faces thats been rubbed clear... i was at a place called Arrow town which is near queenstown for all those playing at home and the lady said it was -12 degrees at 9am. anyways....

x2, just give em a good clean up and see how they turn out, if you need to repaint though i agree with keeping them grey

We did something similar to a mate at school. Everyday of the week we'd put his mini in a different parking spot. Then one time we walked it across the grass and hid it behind a shrub... Eventually we got bored with it because he didnt react anymore... One of my other mates had himself a ke70 and my ignition key would open every lock and would also start his ignition so i did the ol' switcheroo every now and then. just my 2 cents

Hey mate, depends on the look your going for, if your doing custom interior then i'd go with a nice subtle aftermarket tacho otherwise try and find a original tacho dash. just my opinion.

Hey mate, I'm only going from what i remember from when we put a ae82 4ac (which has electric dizzy) into my ke70. From memory (and i can't take pics cos ive put that black plastic stuff everywhere to cover wires) we wired it up as normal but didnt go through the resistor (thats the ceramic thing right?) because the elctric dizzy doesnt need that. I ended up changing my coil to one for the electric dizzy that i got from auto one. The new coil didnt have a positive or negative side marked on it, so we just put the wires from one side of the original coil to one side and the vice versa. Hope this helps in some way.

I personally don't see how it comes under General automotive discussion topic as the photography doesnt really have to relate to automotive and chopping a car doesnt really start much discussion apart from the odd 'nice work' comment... my 2cents

i was merely giggling because it always happens like this. Someone new comes on and bad mouths someone else. Why not just say 'from my experiences...' or 'i do this for a living and it can be done with minor modifications...' and be polite and nice about things. This forum from what i understand is to help people and inform them. If someone has produced incorrect information it may have been from personal experience or prior reading they have done. If you've got someone to add there isnt reason to dump shit on what someone else has said. just my 2cents

dude u called the mod gay what do you expect, your lucky he didnt lock the thread. Do some reading mate, people have different opinions on brake setups etc so its prob worth looking at other peoples conversions and what they've done.

my dads got one of those on the wall near our back fridge. His is just polished up. Ill ask him when he gets home if he remembers how they originally were.

yeah i put a 4ac from an ae82 with electic ignition into my ke70 and it had the same wires. Just had to make up a lead to go from the coil i think from memory. I got an aftermarket coil for that engine as opposed to the normal one.

yeah i drive a ke70 and it has minimal body roll. I've got 2inch lowered king springs in it and new monroe GT shocks and struts and handles alright i guess... never been on two wheels though!
