  1. no, you're not, and we are call an engineer
  2. it's in the internet (and from malaysia at that), it must be true! :lmao:
  3. it also depends on the car stick one on an otherwise stock ep82 starlet, which has no swaybars at all, and it makes a crapload of difference
  4. it would
  5. just the dash cluster tim, it's easy as is it just me or is that HEAPS brighter than stock? that's always sucked about corolla instruments, they end up dimmer than the tacho i was thinking of changing over to just white LEDs in the ke25, but at $10/pair i had better things to spend the cash on at the time before i tried it
  6. ray billeau engineering around southport will do it. ray's a cranky old f@$k so he wants like $120 per wheel to do it there's a lowered ke30 in lismore with silver widened 13" stockos, and from the look of that thing, it's so worth it i'd do white wheels with polished hubcaps and chrome dress rims. yum
  7. i have priced them. you can.
  8. lol time for new springs back on topic, i want to get corona steelies widened to 6" same backspace as stock so i get lots of dish
  9. you can still buy new head bolts from toyota spare parts too
  10. yeah. that was back in the old stock-3k-ke35 days
  11. i've done the same, tho in my case, i broke the arm off the fuel pump guess i was lucky
  12. on the bumpstops. hahahaha
  13. i doubt it
  14. easy way to solve this. the rocker cover bolts are vertical, the bolts you're talking about run horizontally, right? if so, they're the manifold bolts. and like doug said, you just need to take the head off, take it into an engine builders and get them to helicoil the threads you've stripped a head gasket isn't hard, but it's not exactly a small job either, you're going to need a torque wrench and a workshop manual, and feeler gauges and some idea of how to set tappets. if you don't understand any of that, take it to a mechanic if the bolts you're talking about are vertical, and are indeed head bolts, then you're probably easier to just throw the engine away and get one from the paper or a forum or the wreckers if you've stripped a vertical bolt, but one of the ones that hold the rockers down, then that's no big deal, proceed as if you've stripped a manifold bolt. my good head has ALL helicoils holding in the rocker covers. one doesn't even line up, so it doesn't have a bolt in it
  15. noobzone might i suggest that you just take your car to a performance shop and hand them several thousand dollars to do the conversion for you
  16. well, if you want some help, it's time to either learn what parts are, or take photos and use paint to draw red arrows on them. we're not mind readers noobzone this please mr moderator
  17. no, all toyota splines are the same
  18. oooooooooooooh that's a big hit, how fast were you going!? i'd either get your mate to buy you another corolla, get alot of money off him, or beat the shit out of him with a trolley bar. and never let him in your car again
  19. boss kits and aftermarket wheels mostly  i might try and get my hands on an rn85 hilux wheel, i liked the one in my truck
  20. that's an interesting carb setup, what are they? love the ignition
  21. that's a pretty good price. a mate of mine has an fto, i've often drooled over (not on) his seats
  22. holy crap, what a machine! imagine getting out of the groove in that thing, such a short wheelbase, it'd be over pretty quick
  23. engine going upon? details of said engine? desired intention?
  24. and the problem of chassis flex?
