  1. i like the A pillar the best. the entire car has like, NO structural strength
  2. i think the original topic has run its course well enough
  3. david vizard and he is god
  4. there are three different bullit roadsters i believe. lexus, ls1 and rotary
  5. you need to swap the discs and calipers as a pair. jap calipers go with jap discs, girlock calipers go with girlock discs
  6. there are two types of early jap calipers, they interchange. the mounts and hoses are the same for both, i believe they even use the same pads? only the body of the caliper itself is different and they both suck, upgrade to ke55/70 girlock calipers if you can
  7. six and a half grand for a 4k, you have GOT to be kidding me you could pay someone to mount and wire a 3sge for that price, including the engine
  8. http://images.google.com/images?q=quokka
  9. perhaps we are referring to different famous irish people the one i know lives in queensland
  10. very un-sexy to me, but some people enjoy it
  11. rattle gun and compressor
  12. by the way, as you would know, we don't have access to toyota special service tools (most of them are a waste of time anyway) so rattling off part numbers of special-length breaker bars and funny shaped wrench heads is not going to help there is NO part on a corolla that cannot be worked on in a backyard with a good socket and spanner set, some pliers, a rattle gun, a few screwdrivers, and a big f@$king bar and hammer
  13. haha the irish guy's a champ, i met him a while back. one of the few intelligent humble drifters out there. got plenty of time for him :D
  14. hahaha, ahh the good old days
  15. queensland rocks
  16. and the ADRs came down from the mountain and didst veryily say, "thou shalt not weld a cast or forged suspension component" if you have pressed control arms (like a corolla) then i believe there would be a chance you could legaglly cut n shut them. your welds would need to be really good, or you'd need to pay someone who can weld better, and ideally you'd box across the bottom it for extra strength of course, this would need to be engineered, so call around a few engineers and find out, then let us know too :D custom bushes are fine, fook has them
  17. yeah but japanese people have skill and can drive. that guy is just a moron
  18. YOU GUYS CAN GET BETTY BOOP PLATES?!?! THAT IS AWESOME!!! :D
  19. that ae86 in half photo, that so needs an "0wned" photoshopped into it
  20. holy crap, i'll never complain about flat spotting tyres again :D i was on the plane this weekend wondering what sort of brakes were in those wheels, they'd want to be damn good imagine being on that flight, haha the people would have shit themselves
  21. there is no difference in the engine to any other 4k, it's just a badge. other manufacturers were bringing out "overhead cam" and "twincam" cars at the time, and "hicam" was just toyota's marketing ploy so they didn't get left behind until the 4a-c and 4a-ge corollas came out
  22. i usually tell them by the roof (ke20 is a couple of inches higher) and the vent in the rear quarter. they have massively different tail as well, the whole bootlid and tail lights are impossible to confuse by definition of car body shapes, a sedan has a full height side window to the top of the rear windscreen, a coupe side window starts to taper down before it reaches the rear screen line. you can see this very well in the pics rob posted this is a general design rule that applies to any car, not just corollas, not just two doors
  23. adding fake woodgrain and a wood wheel does not make ones car prestigious, it makes it a cheap car with cheap wood this dude needs to keep trying
  24. hahahaha stupidest waste of money ever
