  1. I KNOW you can find this with a quick search..... so please do so.
  2. Should be fine to still use it with the vac secondaries. You'll just need to remove the rod that runs from the carby throttle linkage to the gearbox for the kickdown.
  3. cross members are different but the mounts are still in the same spot. :(
  4. Also need room to open the drivers door at least so you don't need to do a Duke or Hazard entry/exit of the car.
  5. Although that could vary state to state! :(
  6. Hey all, I would just like to advise that we now have a new regional leader for the Tassie section. I have made the decision to hand over this roll for personal reasons. Now having a kid I just don't feel I have the time I would like to organise meets, cruises or other regional events. I will just continue to do my tech mod roll. So, Please join me in welcoming Ben (toy-yoda) to the roll. :( Cheers, Si.
  7. Mark can yu please refraim from advertising car or parts in the local section. Throw a FS add in the cars section and chuck up a link here. :(

Has the car go an alarm/immobiliser?
  9. Vac/boost line coming from #4 won't be a problem. The whole manifold is still under boost pressure. :lolcry: Just try pulling the idle timing back to about 8* (with vac advance disconnected) and wind the btm up to 3* per psi with the next HG and see how you go.
  10. To be fair on others, please go and start a proper for sale thread Prewer. This thread should only contain a link to said FS thread.
  11. There isn't really a lot of helpful info on that link for the btm I just found this one the MSD website, click on downloads and there's a sheet there about setting the increments, again not overly helpful. http://www.msdignition.com/Products/Igniti...ing_Master.aspx Might be a really stupid question, but have you run a boost/vacuum line to the spiggot on the MSD box? Cause it can't retard timing if it can't see boost!
  12. :lolcry: thanks Ben and Ken.... oh and yo let's get just one thing clear there's only one reason why I came here ya really done want me to tig-a-tig-a-tig-a tell ya wassup (go) ya really done want me to tig-a-tig-a-tig-a tell ya wassup (go) ya really done want me to tig-a-tig-a-tig-a tell ya wassup (go)
  13. Someone's probably swapped the chrome bumpers with a Ksev and vice versa. Forget the hater saying don't bother with a turbo setup. Check out what the Peurto Rican's (not mexicans) are doing with 3tc's (and not TG's!) and you'll be blown away! :lolcry: .... http://www.rollaclub.com/board/index.php?showtopic=16233
  14. FAQ says 2.45L for a K50
  15. On the engine yes.
  16. I've only ever seen it on specific type of 3k. One I had with it was from an auto 3k KE30.
  17. Take the whole pump down to your local enzed/hydraquip/pertek and tell them what you want to do. They'll just sell you some new fitting that screw into the pump which have an 8mm or slightly larger (as the hose can stretch over it) barbed fitting.
  18. Moved. :lolcry:
  19. Come on guys, does nobody else understand what this thread is???? :) You're making uncle shady and I feel old! :) If somebody want to continue I'll delete this post. :D
  20. Sorry... This is a question. Punctuation can make all the difference..... my bad.
  21. Exactly! The 12psi I mentioned above at the carby was coming from a Carter Black which is rated at 100GPH @ 14-16psi, so I was getting at least a 2psi drop along the line.
  22. Yeah some carbies will tolerate different pressures. Apparently Dellortos don't like much pressure at all, where as solexs can tolerate a bit more..... this is where Scoobzd is making an assumption. Again with down draft carbs, stocko asians don't like much more than 4psi. On the other hand I've put 12psi into a 32/32 weber befor and the N&S could still hold that!!!
  23. The needle and seat - which is operated by the float shuts off fuel to the float bowl when its full..... just like your toilets systern. If the fuel pressure is too high it can force open the N&S and overfill the float bowl.
  24. Point....... .....Missed. :)
  25. Thats quite a list!!! :)
