  1. Deburred the cam gears and cleaned the thermostat housing today, Also painted the TVIS badge to suit the cam covers: Tomorrow i will take the gearbox in and clean all the crap off it.
  2. I said i would do them green, You said you'd do them yourself. Whenever you want me to do them i will.
  3. Pics of the cam covers and inlet manifold, The manifold is looks dirty from having my mits on it.
  4. Inlet manifold and throttle body all clean and blasted ready to be put back together tomorrow, Cam covers arrived today so i will blast them tomorrow and paint them holden orange/rocket red with bare alloy lettering, Just need to get a clutch kit and machine the flywheel and it will be back in.
  5. The 4age and 4a have different waterpumps, I have already mentioned that, You should also note that the 4agze top outlet has a different angle to than the standard 4age one.

  7. Yes they do but the water pump is different, The 4age has more of a cut out to allow for the cam belt and covers.

  9. Yes the rear housings are the same, Its just the pumps that are different, The 4age pump has more of a cut out to clear th timing covers and belt, It does make sense but how are you going to run your alternator?
  10. The main reason is head flow and the compression ratio of 8.0:1 but its good been able to fit a rwd manifold straight on, The bigport gze's have a knock sensor too, Whats the 4ac flip around mod you are doing?

  15. Got my JDM bypass pipe, It is listed as a different number, Its 16278-16040
  16. My JDM bypass pipe arrived from Japan so i will now sell my USDM pipe.
  17. I forgot to mention that one of the hardest parts to get for the clubman is a front mounted steering otherwise the column would be mounted on a stupid angle if you used a common rear mounted rack.
  18. Who did you go to for 20K, Thats almost 5 times more than what it should be costing me, I am going to be using the AE71 diff as thats also what alot of them use, I will see if the guy from work will get me some pics of his chassis.

  20. Well in that case just remove the circlip and rotate.
  21. You got ripped off big time. Get a 90 degreee circlip plier, Loosen the retaining bolts, Remove circlip & turn housing, Put circlip in and tighten bolts.
  22. Refer to PM, Also the seals are the same between smallport and bigport, I put small port ones in mine as thats what i had.
  23. No, I need all 3 for the van. Started the template for the custom gearbox x-member, Hopefully i will make the real thing tomorrow.
  24. They actually use a low rpm, High rpm heats up the compound.
  25. Nick is doing all 3 of my stickers for $75 posted, Thats a pretty good deal.
