Like, if its just a round town car then the four speed will be good enough and a fifth gear would just be weight. The only reason i have a five speed in my chariot is that i have the low gearing (or is that tall gearing) so that i'm able to tool around the streets in fifth and not have it bitch and complain when i give it a bit. Most of the parts for the '30 will fit the '55. Most of the parts that are different is cosmetic (eg: headlights, grill, tail-lights etc). Have a bit of a search around the forum its all been covered before. Getting the gearbox from the celica will need a "K-T" bellhousing will be hard to say the least, unless your also swapping the motor out for either a T-series or a A-series motor. Then it'll be just making sure you also get the gearbox with the (or for that) motor.

Is that dizzy from an auto ? Cause that'd explain the two advance ports. I wouldn't be too worried about it. But your random vacuum port looks like a "manifold vacuum port" (good for hooking up a vacuum gauge) and if memory services me hook a line from that to the thing you showed in the third picture and then run a hose over to the dizzy port. And if it is from the auto and you really really want it hooked up you'll need to have a look at the vacuum diagram for the auto. The manual one is piss easy to read..... the auto version will send you stupid

Bloody post offices. Had the girlfriend go around to the post office today to ask about a quote on a carton to be sent up to nambour, she couldn't do it cause the box wasn't sealed and addressed.... But apart from that - i'm not sending anything through Pack N Send. They wanted about $140 to send a 2kg box to Melbourne. But the cracker was they had to pack the box themselves. The item i'm wanting to send is door glass so it'd have to be wrapped in bubble wrap etc, at work we sell bubble wrap a 1.5 x 100M roll is around $80..... go figure.... Talking about work and race jacks - a pretty good one turned up the other day, it had LEDs in the saddle. Also found out my supervisor doesn't know what a car battery is - phuckin idiot
