    Your MA61s are to expensive for skidders. haha I'm keen on progress to I should be starting on the fuel system tomorrow unless something comes up.

    AE86 CMC, clutch pedal assembly and accelerator cable acquired. MR2 shocks ordered. Debating on 14x7+0 Centrelines as skidders....opinions?

    I don't mind it either. The more you watch it, the more you understand the tactics and etc. Also the pure amount of money involved in it is phenomenal. Each team has three cars per track and each car is close to $500k each. Just crazy.......

    Straight into it I reckon. Its way easier to hit stuff on the skidpan. On the track there is miles before you hit stuff compared to the skidpan.

    How did AE86's do so well/win championships in D1GP they make very little smoke/no smoke. And what about when it rains? etc. Everyone just sucks then. It also says comp cars maximise grip. Thus no stretch. Also one of the references is "Ford Typhoon Drifting Car" lol But yeah off topic haha

    Uuuuh *face palm* you don't actually get points for smoke. Although that is one of the major issues with the aussie scene. Is everyone thinks its all about smoke. Yeah the whole hardparking type scene is really quite annoying.

    I'm into drift and I don't have stretch neither does any D1GP or FD cars. Its more of the whole "stance, hellaflush and etc". Any serious car doesn't have it. Also I understand why you don't want to touch your guards. Your paint is soo good (M I N T)

    Rims that big on Rolla's are stupid unless there like 2jz drag cars with slicks. Nothing rubs at stock height! haha I can't see those rims causing any issues. Unless its seriously low. The trick is don't make anything look ridiculous and cops will leave you alone. Also 99% of cops hate "stretch" and will give you trouble for it. edit: Although by the specs your not really after stretch.

    10+10=20 unless you only want it longer on one side lol. I thought your only "legal" allowed to increase a cars track by 25mm (in QLD). Without a mod plate. So your rims would only be aloud to be an extra 2.5mm per side. Would cops work that out highly unlikely. But just thought I'd point it out.

    You seem to have it sorted now. You could just grab some KE30/55 LCA's there cheap. they add 20mm track though. Which is debatably legal. Yeah I got my brakes and basically my whole suspension sorted before I started the engine swap. The KE70 BMC should be fine as its what I'm using with my RA65 brakes(A fair bit bigger than AE86) and its fine. Edit: Oh and for the wheel alignment you should just take it to the pro's. I tried doing mine and its still a bit dodge and annoying.

    put the car up on stands, to remove the diff.. about 20sec after i got out from underneath it, it fell off the stands! thats what i call lucky Is that why the car was like that when I came round! The whole time I was thinking WTF is the car sitting like that.

    I say put a Cummins Diesel in it! Just what I was thinking but 4AGEs are good motors and readily available.
