Hillzy came into my work yesterday, was nice to froth over his corona a little, was with a dude that had a yellow KE70 on Hurricanes, that looked sweet too ;)

Rare spares sold me the wrong one! Had to glue it down and then fold the flaps of the seal over. Still looks sweet though! Just gonna put a CD player in then do some more cruising ;)

Thanks man! After months the new windscreen seal made its way on, made a subtle but big difference, before and after pics haha

So, put her up on stands today to clean up underneath. Painted the petrol tank, diff and all the normal stuff, degreased everything like crazy and its clean as now! Then ended up giving her another wax ;) I know this is a crappy photo, but does anyone know if this matters? It's where the slave cylinder goes into the bell housing, there is normally a rubber dust cover kinda thing there but mine has gone brittle and snapped off! I just don't know how bad it is to have this open like that - I freak out about shit alot. Hahaha

I've seen a picture of one with a black grille, looks good but I think it'd look better with no badge in the centre if you go black. Engine bay looks wicked by the way! Good work man :)

Looks good man, a fresh engine sounds nice :) If you go 4AGE I think carb would suit the car really well, I've got a thing for carbies staying on old cars. Can't wait to see it on the streets!

Sooooo... Nothing too exciting, but now that I have a daily I'm starting to tidy her up a bit more. Got my Whitewalls redone today, made a huge difference! Up next is the front windscreen seal I've had in the garage for 6 months, then a few touch ups of surface rust coming through (about two spots the size of a 20c piece) hopefully you'll all see a few more updates soon! Superstores here in SA had them a while ago man, haven't been in ours for a few months but they were around as a Super Store only thing here.

Yeah mine revs the same, pretty much 4000 when coasting at 100. If you can would be awesome, I've heard about the cross member but would be handy to know exactly what I'm getting into :)
