Sounds good man. Have you seen the 1970 Toyota Sprinter? I have never seen a picture of one other then the one in this pic below. See how it has the point in the middle of the grill. I'm not really sure if its a TE27 as it has the older style fender mirrors and skinny tires. But its unusual none the less.

Looks wicked man. Wish I could do this to mine. What do you think the added weight to the front of the car would do? Any negative/positive effects? As the TE27 came out with this engine I'm fairly curious on how they handle? as the rear is pretty lightweight. This video on youtube gives a good indication: Personally I think a rotary would suit them better. Smaller/lighter/powerful engine etc. But the 2TG will have some balls don't get me wrong. Also are you going to leave the early grill on it or update it to the later style? Cheers Tally

Looks neat man. Love the pin striping and the wheels suit it perfect. The only thing I don't like is the KE20 fender garnish. Should grab some KE25 ones and it will look mad. Cheers Tally

Thanks guys!!! great help.. Here are some pics of the head and block... I am pretty sure the head is cracked so thats why I'm looking for another one at the moment... And the water ways have corodded a fair bit so its not usable. The oil has water in it also... And the last piston has a fair bit of oil on it...

Hey guys I have taken the head off my 3K in my KE25 and have been told that I should clean the top of the pistons while the head is off.... My question is how and what do I use? Cheers Tally

Yea I think it would be more easy and cost effective if I just found a one in good condition. to anyone that may be able to help the pics are in the last post on pg 5. Just a few questions: The block shouldnt have anything wrong with it would it? The heads are alloy and thats why they wear out? Can I use different heads on it? eg 3K-H? And how do I clean the top of the block and the pistons? How do I wipe them? Do I just use a cloth and some cleaning agent or just scrape everything? yea thats about it. well went and got a new headgasket and manifold gasket during the week. more problems.... Just going to cut a long story short and let the pics do some of the talking. Undid rocker Undid rocker arms and shaft. Took out pushrods. Undid manifold: Took off head: The gasket was rooted but the head was also. In the cylinder closest to the front, the water way had corrded right next to the cylinder. I think that was the casue. Ill let you guys decide as I have no idea if its ok or not. Look bad to me but. Took the head off the old engine but taht one was so far goneeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. 17 years of sitting sure does a lot of damage.. sorri don't have a pic but it was all rusted and corroded. and the top of the pistons were covered in ash. So looks like I'm up for a new head. Will put a ad up in the parts trader. Cheers guys :P Tally Looks like I'm up for a new head.
