  1. Yeah karma will get him. But I saw it front on so no grill FMIC people grater and crap paint he is a cop magnet. And yeah can't beat ippy for a quality road worthies but...lol Thats how we get all our bombs on the road in ippy..lol Cameron
  2. HAHAH You know walking around Goodna ANYWHERE with a bag of cash is a recipe for DISASTER.....
  3. HAHAH true true bad for us. But Twin head lights at first throw you then it was missing the grill. But he gives a bad name to rollas...LOL
  4. LittleRedSpirit I saw this same car today at the lights near the woolworths on redbank plains road at 5:15. He drove stupidly ad well flawed it around a WET CORNER in peak hour traffic. But I noticed a FMIC on it tucked away and I think it had twin head lights as at first I though it was a datto stanza. But from the glance I got also looked like he had fitted the rear vents off an SR KE35 that Australia never got so if it is an old SR he cut up shame on him. But other than that shit paint and yeah a white roof that I'm guessing was its original color. Cameron
  5. In my KE15 above the heater controls in the middle of the dash the plastic that usually has Toyota or corolla molded into it is cut out and the previous owner installed a tape deck. It is the perfect size so this mp3 head deck is an easy mod just you need to cut the plastic trim a tad  Cmaeron
  6. Thanks Red for the reference on the air filter element. I was curious as to weather or not this style of element was still available or not. Cheers Cameron
  7. Hi, Just to let you know I am shit at typing and that but no my description in the shop s better. Ans the new $20 units don't look right I feel in the KE15. But on the up side why store it in the shed.....so I solved the problem. I found a rubber grommet in the hydraulic work shop at the airport fitted like a glove doesn't leak water cost free and worked. So problem solved people I now have an original working water washer bottle and a new pump I bought so the KE15 is now one step closer to road running  Cheers Cameron
  8. Hi, Yeah red I figured you did the grinding..lol But now there rare and I bet people wish they never cut them. But I was looking at it and I recon you could easily fix it so no dramas really..lol I was ranting a bit. Cheers Cameron
  9. UPDATES Though Id pop in an fast up date on my 15. So far after my holiday I have managed to reinstall the front badges that were off the car and install a KE55 engine mount to make the motor more up right. That is all the work done on the car. Now after making the motor sit up right the extractors are closer to fitting but now hit the floor pan of the car  So I am now selling them anyone want cheap KE25 extractors?? PM ME. I have decided I will bite the bullet get soem real KE1X extractors and use an original KE1X mount. But Ill keep the KE30 mount just in case I get some twins down the future so I can get more room. Now in the mean time I also purchased a twin carby setup off Super Jaime from here and below is a picture of it: It isnt in TIP top condition but there getting hard to find so can't go wrong with spares. They are originally off a KE50 so they sport a small port manifold and an air filter box with a lot of polution gear on it and that is it. Other wise there the same as a KE1X set. But the heat transfer triangle on thsi manifold is the same as a normal KE3X and newer exhaust manifold so makes these manifold easier to use as KE1X manifolds ran different triangle sizes. Only down side of the mani is it has been modded to fit extractors :D ..why do people do this :( and below is a pic of this damage: But this setup I will be bead blasting the carbys have all ready been rebuilt so there bolted on and this setup will just be a spare etc. I have also ordered a caliper rebuild kit to put through my front KE70 brake calipers I have for the sprinter here so soon I will have nice painted rebuilt ke70 brakes on the sprinter  And finally another toy for the car that is on the way...I FOUND a N.O.S yellow book manual for a KE1X aircon system :) all pages there no dirt on it like new. So now one day down the track the sprinter I might try to install aircon using newer parts but having it similar to the original system. So now I just need to find a yellow book for the motor for a KE1X car and I have all 4 in the set :lolcry: So this item is paid for and in the post :lolcry: That is it for now. Cheers Cameron
  10. Hi, Today I deided to go and get a new pump for my KE15 window washer so I can reinstall the water squirters. But the washer bottle I have for the water and pump, the hole in the bottem where the pump goes in for the water pick up the rubber gromet was perished and leaking and I need a new one. Does anyone know where I can get one? As I went to super cheap and they don't sell any. Cheers Cameron
  11. Hi, OK this hasnt died in the ass...lol yet....lol I have been snowed under this year with other commitments and this project has gone to the extreme back burner. I did how ever find springs metal just no diff for a trial but the springs I now can't find...lol So I'm waiting. But Si a mate of mine here is hopefully still donating me a whole running working KE70 diff with 2 rims  for nothing just because he doesn't want it. So hopefully I can collect this in a few weeks. If not I am buying a 4.4:1 rare ratio diff center for my KE15 so I might make a unit for the ke15 and see how it goes. But other wise yeah project is on hold kinda.....but I like the idea for a group buy if the guy will do it might be a faster option..lol Cameron
  12. Probably just got a 3K-C mate. Most 3K are all the same apart from the manifolds and cylinder head. A 3k-B has twin carbies and a 3K-H is the high compression one. Yours being a 3K out of a early rolla prob is a mild port so you will notice the ports aren't as big as a big port but not as small as a KE30 3K for instance. Also if the 3K was a 3K-B that DOESN'T meant it was a big port head..... It just means twin carby as I know small and big port corolla twin carby setup exist....cause I have both of em.. Cheers Cameron
  13. Hi, I was just curious does the KE20 under dash tray that fits into a KE20 that goes from the drivers side to the other side for a full shelf. Will it fit a KE1X? Or does the KE2X shelf have say different mounts, length, width etc and wont fit? Cheers Cameorn
  14. SPOTTED, 45LDE driving down the inner city bypass today near the hospital. can't miss a matt black AE71 and those pink boxes :) I think he spotted my RC stickers as well..lol Cameron
  15. Here is my 2 cents, I run a 5K in a KE15 sprinter with its original 4 speed KE1X gear box with the forwards shifter position. I have no issues with the clutch at all. But on the 5K when it was in my KE30 it ran a 3 dowel flywheel off a standard 3K/4K motor no issues and in the sprinter the older style 2 dowel early 3K flywheel. Again no balance issues all goes straight in. I feel you have another issue some where. As also stated above the 7K is a counter weight balanced motor so fly wheel shouldn't affect the balance if the fly wheel inst damaged warped etc. But do you have a harmonic balance on the front of the 7K? As most 5K/7K all run a harmonic balancer so if you went and used a normal pulley off a 3K/4K maybe this is the cause of vibrations? Un likely but. And how was the fly wheel installed. EG was it torqued down properly? As my dads torana new from factory had awful vibrations shudder etc. We pulled it out when we got the motor rebuilt many years later and all we did was face the flywheel for a new clutch then we installed it torquing it properly and no more shudder or vibrations so maybe the fly wheel was torqued down wrong? Also one last possibility. You have managed to snap the center part of the clutch that holds the springs and the spline bit away from the fiber section. YES it can be done. My 3K did this a month back. The little metal tabs that are riveted to the center of the fly wheel and then to the fiber section all snapped. While it was dying I though it was gear box issues. As I had major shudders. banging sounds yes I snapped a clutch cable and I also would engage the clutch and there would be vibrations then you wouldn't move much or slowly then it would pick up. As this was the center section spinning around and the fiber section held still so maybe the clutch plate is dead. And the clutch that went in my car had 100,000KM on it and wasn't flogged/ dropped clutch etc so it just gave up. So I say pull out box have a look. As a 4K flywheel will fit a 7K and should work in any K40/50 box with a standard clutch. Cheers Cameron
  16. Hi, That setup would be worth a fair bit as it is all ready tunned etc for a K motor. But the other week in AU$ I paid $200AU for a stock K-B carby setup. So these twins I imagine would be worth more than that so that might help. Cameron
  17. Hi, Trev did you get the SC12 with the motor as well trev? And let me guess by the looks of you brothers Torana in the back ground of the engine pics I guess you dad towed a car that had a 4agze motor in it? Cameron
  18. Hi, On my Ke15 I have a standard KE15 starter and it is small as and it cranks my 5K over with shaved head fine but if it dies ill switch to a reduction gear I hope  But just as another point I belive the KE30/55 ish starters are 0.6KW and KE70 ones are 0.8 KW so there is a power difference in the motor so there is a upgrade you can do if you don't have a reduction gear starter. Also a newer KE3X/5X/7X starter wont fit a stock KE1X gear box. The bolt holes in the gear box are smaller diameter and the KE1X bolts are a ut and bolt setup and newer starters are a olt setup with the starter motor housing containing the threaded part for the bolt. As I tried putting a larger starter on the 5K in the KE15 and they don't fit as the bolt holes on the geear box were to small and the big bolts that screw into the starter for newer starters don't fit. so on a KE1X if you runa KE1X GB you will have to use a stock Ke1X starter. Cheers Cameron
  19. Jip how did you know i wound fit in so well..lol Kirtzarten. There's a little bakery there.... I know that place  Also yes no speed limits and thumb thing is true. Its funny jump in a volvo taxi at Dubia and yep 160 fully loaded. Mate of mine works for emerates air and he has had numerous crashes on there un limeted speed roads and still lives. He wrote off his 20th Bday gift a 2005 New honda civic at 200km/h he woke again 4 day later. He is very lucky. But man all I can say pissing down rain here in Germany windy as anything even trains stopping as one was blown off the tracks (in one part of Germany reported 130km/h winds on news here) and were still doing 180km/h on autobarhn and man car goes from one lane to another in a flash at that speed when you hit wind. Cheers (till I find another WiFi hot spot and have a break) Cameron
  20. To over come the gear box shifter stick problem couldnt you get a stock gear selector and a gas torch heat and bend? This seems an easy way to do it and make interior look stock. Aso the pic of the TRD mounts look like a custom metal side with a universal rubber block. Could you use a ford escort rubber block here and DIY metal mounts? Cheers Cameron
  21. Yesterday in transit siting at Dubia airport 16 hours into my trip. I turned on the WiFi and got on the free internet at the air port. And well while cheking mails etc I decided to pop over to rollaclub......Then it struck. In Dubia you can't get on corolla club AHAHAHAH comes up can't access server or some crap.Yet if I googled rollaclub I could pull up certain members rides in the image search but that was all you will find. Also want anything cheap..or gold...or REALLY nice shit...GO TO DUBIA just avoid the locals like the plague they don't wear deodorant an it is hot there :P matter of fact at 6am there time it was a pleasent 36 degrees.... Cheers Cameron P.S. HATE GErMAN KEy BOARDS THE Y KEY IS WHERE THE Z KEY IS ON AN AUSSIE KEY BOARD SO AHAHAHAH TYPING HARD....
  22. Red I know those gas turbine pics well..lol MMM bit of a hot start you could say..lol I have seen a jet powered go kart similar to the one I made lift off the ground doing 100km/h when its single 100mm diameter turbine let go at 80,000RPM so imagine a Boeing 767 engine letting go...... Cameron
  23. Jip...I think we were all watching the auction of corolla kids SU's that you got..lol Cameron
  24. HEY CONGRATS ON WIN....:) Also are you going to Germany first? As I will be in Germany on Saturday..lol As you do.. Cameron
  25. UPDATES Ok phatke30 I am using a KE30 engine manifold side engine mount. The newer mounts compared to the older KE1X mounts sit up more. So with a KE1X mount on the dizzy side and a KE30 or newer engine mount on the manifold side it stands the motor up more vertical. So if you need room for bigger carbies, extractors etc KE30 or newer manifold side engine mount is the fastest way to get more room. Also I have seen KE1X cars where the exhaust goes over or under the gear box cross member so I am aware of this. At this stage I think I will run them over the gearbox cross member so I have it more original and if I ever lower the car I will have the clearance still and not smash up m exhaust system. As for the extractors they are ones I got off a fellow member here out of his KE25. So there not ke1X extractors. So in the KE15 they hit the steering stop bolt and if they were about 5mm higher it would clear it all and bolt into the car no issues or cutting. So I dummy a KE30 mount into the car I had and I trial installed the extractors. But they hit. This time on the floor pan of the car :bash: I believe this is because there for a KE2X as all KEXX extractors I have seen it is really the collector at the floor that varies so a simple chop here and it is fixed I think if you get extractors for a different model. So I think I need to modify these a bit to make them fit. Below is how the extractors sit in the KE15 for you all: As you can see the extractors are not facing the cylinder head properly. So when they do they will be in closer to the motor. And as you can see in photo 1 (refer to red circle). They hit the steering stop bolt and there is about a feeler gauge gap between the steering arm and the lower pipe That is all in the red circle sorry for shit quality). So if the motor is say lifted 2cm which I believe it will be the extractors will swing in away from the steering arm and should be 2cm higher than it so that will be no issue then they should also go over the stop bolt and presto they should fit. Also currently the dump pipe is still within the gearbox tunnel so going over or under the gearbox member wont be an issue if I up right he motor more as they will swing in closer and be further in so fit better I hope.So fingers crossed. But the KE30 mount I have coming was posted today ;) so Next week if I get time I will install it but I leave for a holiday next week also so this might not happen for about 3 weeks this extractor job. But when it does I have the rest of the motor sorted. Cheers Cameron P.S. below are a few pics of the extractors and how they sit on the motor notice they don't sit flat on the cylinder head. Also below is a pic of clearence between radiator and the 5K. This is reason for the thermo fan. As KE1X ran a flat metal fan they didnt have as much room as other models. And I don't want to run an old metal fan.
