  1. Yeah man I'm a maissive fan of the "everything swings in roundabouts" system. Lol. And working in the aftermarket performance industry helps a bucket load too. Ah the s15 t28. Well I was planning on maybe putting on the fj20 in dads 1600, but he really really wants a gt3071. Tazrx has put his hand up for it maybe.   6. Yeah or even bourbon!! Havent got it yet so we will see. But I did drop the new/old bonnet off to have a bit of rust on the front fixed and then painted. That's payment for some machining/adapting parts for a mates dads harley. Stu.
  7. Yes a few floating around dedicated to the mighty 'k'.lol. You've got to remember my car is a ke-11 and fairly light. So here goes. Stage 1: 10.2:1 5k, mild crow cam, twin 1 1/2 su's, small port job, 4 into 1 extractors, 2" exhaust and k50. Made 50rwkw and was pretty quick for what it owed me. It was real punchy down low and with the su's sounded awesome on song. Stage 2: Same 5k with a 4k head gave 8.2:1 comp, huge blower grind cam, 4 into 1 extractors, sc/12 @ 9psi, 7ke inlet mani, microtech d5 analog ecu, locked leccy dizzy, top mount cooler and same s&@tty k50 and 2" exhaust. Made 100rwkw and went like stink!! Turned 5th gear into andrive gear it had that much torque. Stage 3: Well most of you know the new setup thats under contsruction so will keep this space for edit when it's complete.lol Stu.
  8. I'm not sure the 4age normal bolt would even be an upgrade. From what I could gather they are the same diameter as a 5k bolt(I'm yet to check) only got em as they were cheap. I'll be picking up the new turbo this weekend hopefully. It's payment for a 4agte I've built for a mates k-sev. I'll tell all when I've recieved it. Stu.
  9. Well it has been a while since my last update, been slowly parts gathering. I've sorted a new turbo!!! It's of the HKS ball bearing variety which is all I'm saying at the moment. I've also got genuine Toyota head gasket and 4age main studs. So were getting closer and closer to dropping it off for manifolds and shite, really just waiting on room in the factory. Stu.

  11. Hey Evan I've got a big body Bosch k-sev alt sitting in my car. It's not being used and it cost me nothing. So if you want it for a conversion it's yours. Spewin Jake just left my place about 45min ago could have just given it to him. Stu.
  12. What about just hitting it with some either matt/flat clear? Might be easier than having to go back a few times before you get it to where you want it. Just a thought would end up dearer as you'll have to buy the clear but it would also give the paint a bit more strength. Stu.
  13. Wow 32000rpm. Only things I know that spin that hard are the little nitro RC engines. I wanna see it running, and some numbers from the dyno. Stu.
  14. That's cheap at all those prices. The low end multi spark would be awesome. I'd expect to pay atleast $250 for a regraph of your leccy dizzy. Seems like a good thing. Stu.
  15. So that controls the whole curve and does cdi? What's it worth and do you have to run an MSD coil? Being an MSD product it will be good quality. Just depend if it fits into your budget. We have a couple of good dizzy shops in Vic. Google "ignition torque" or "performance ignition/scorcher". They should be able to help and post interstate. That's if you choose not to go the MSD. Stu.

  17. No. The most I could ever get in mine was 28deg. Any more than that and it would not make more power. Any more than 31deg it rattled it head off Stu.

I'll give it a shot of NOS". Yeah right that was well over 18+months ago and I've been collecting parts ever since.   19. Your going turbo now? All of the exhaust flanges need to be tied together. Have a look at some "k-turbo" rides threads to see what I mean. It will move around too much welding it. Shouldn't be hard to adjust the drawing. Or were you just super bored?lol Stu.

  21. Lol your so right with orange cars with tan interiors! When a mate of mine did his HOK tangelo with tan leather trim 65 mustang "1tuf65". I thought "thats such a good combo". Now I see so many orange/tan cars it's not funny. I guess it's the new purple/tan combo. Lol Oh yeah they were probably right about your car not be their style. It's way to clean and not boosted enough for zooms "go before show" style. And not enough late mod "time attack" style for fast 4's. Meh a feature is a feature and don't forget it's an international publication. Might have to max out the credit card to make it to toyotafest to check this puppy out. I do really really like this car. On a lighter note have you considered a wheel change to some "intros" to make it into street machine? Lol Stu.

  23. You must be sssoooo happy mate! Well I was pretty happy with the suprise of having two small photos(side of car and bay) of my 5kze ke-11 in "Fast 4's" a couple of months ago let alone a full 6 page feature. It takes a very well built classic to get into "Hot 4's" seems to be full of late model silvias, evos and hondas these days. I like this 20! The finish of everyhing is really good and it's kinda refreshing to see you haven't gone for a "safe" colour combo. Oh I have one criticism it needs more boost lol. Stu.

  25. Wheels up love it!! Massive fan of the american tractor pull series. Needs more compound turbos and some alcohol injection to help the diesel along then add 120+psi. Lol But in all seriousness that's one damn cool truck. Stu.
