  1. I had had the same as Jono.c. But when I put the supercharger on I changed to ke55 brakes. Using ke-20 hubs(same as Jono.c), ke-55 backing plates, calipers and rotors. This is the same for ke-70 brakes too which you can buy slotted rotors for. But you will need the ke-20 hubs if you want to keep the 4x110 stud pattern. Stu.
  2. Yep ONLY worth while if your towing a full tradie trailer(or similar) everyday and doing big "kms". Got quoted near enough $6000 to convert my Mazda bt-50. That was trade price too. I didn't care much for the economy of it just wanted more grunt. Lol.
  3. Rego on the rolla and a tow bar for the bt-50!!!
  4. One of the cleanest race cars I've seen for a while!! How much boost do you think it'll take and is it going to be wound up for jamboree?? Stu.
  5. thats for sure but also the way the manifolds are being made will also be the main fix we think. Now that i have rods ive got to get a head chamber properlly done so i can cc it and get bowl size sorted and then its all off to get honed, o`ringed, balanced and maybe grouting it too. Then its off to the fabricator for manifolds, dump pipe and some catch cans etc. got a dummy engine if the forged motor isnt done in time. stu..
  6. Thought i`d chuck a couple of shots of these up for those that haven`t seen my rides thread for a while.. look real solid and measure up perfect. Been talking about a few different ideas for the inlet and exhaust manifolds with my fabricator. Not saying much till its done but it works perfect on the 10sec turbo 202 holden he worked on a while ago. No more manifold gasket issues!!!(i hope) Stu.
  7. Is there a different part number for the fuel pump between 3k-c to 3k-b? If not you'd expect it to supply enough volume to feed your twin carb. I've got a 35gph pump to fill the surge tank in my 11. It supplies enough volume to keep the surge tank topped up. But I have the original purolator(I think that's the name) Had it since I bought the rolla, well it came with car so it could very well be 15+ years old. Stu.
  8. Nice just prank before you come around gotta go and org some parts for the datto. Which should be on the road again real soon. Oh yeah wrapped up in bubble wrap and stuff. So they are safe until I build the engine. But it's such a shame that all of this cool shite for my engine is hidden away. Stu.
  9. Nice buy Jake. Looks alot nicer than what I thought when you told me how much it was. Gotta get Trav to take you for a spin in his sev that will convince you it needs a 4agte. Stu.
  10. Hey mate nice rx3 hahahahaha Stu.
  11. Let these do the talking! just checked all the measurements just before and seem perfect. So no need for resizing big ends, just have to hone the small ends. S15 roller bearing I'm using for fabrication and runing in purposes until i decide whether to rebuild it with a steel rear end or upgrade to maybe a little bigger garrett gt range turbo. stu.
  12. My new Spool conrods arrived yesterday!! One of the first if not the first to be sold within Aus, has sold a fair few to NZ. These are a work of art even for the money. I'll drop so pics up for you guys when I get home from work. Stu.
  13. Oohh what's the dipstick look like? Any water on that? And has it been cold in the mornings in Perth? Might just be a little bit of condensation. Check radiator for bubbles etc. Stu.
  14. Not as bad as everyone makes em out to be. It just takes a couple of tries to fire it up. Once it fires it's starts perfect. I did have fuel only efi so not sure how a carby would go. Stu.
  15. Just checked the ke-55 shifter in the ke-70 extension housing and it's no go!!!! The ksev shifter plate is shorter front to back. can't take a photo either tonight as the lights in the shed just died. Stu.
  16. I've got my ke55 k50 out at the moment and I have a ke70 one aswell I'll check this arvo when I get home. Stu.
  17. Haha yeah bonnet will be colour coded when the car is turbo'd. Was black to try and hide the scoop a bit. And as mr mills said the studs were part of a group buy and were near half the price of what I could get em for. I do have the part numbers if your interested.
  18. If you run blow though you WILL need a BOV!!!!! Clutched blower pulleys reduce throttle response and are a complete waste of time. Most factory sc setups run the throttle body before the blower so no need for a bov. Stu.
  19. Hey Dave found it on tccav website. Not sure how much but from what I could get off the paky autoclub site it's on Mc Gregor rd in Pakenham. Probably not going to make it myself now gotta get trav's 4agte engine done so he can get the sev going again. Stu.
  20. Haha been talkin to Spencer lately about this. The one my sc/12 was sitting on was the top one by the looks of things. Had a couple of bits of angle iron welded on the big square section to bolt it and another bit bolted to it as a brace. But that was for a 12 not 14. I'm still looking for any photos I have on old memory cards I have. Stu.
  21. As topic states I was considering heading out to paky to have a look this Sunday. Thinking if anyone was heading down we could catch up. Stu.
  22. Yeah yeah!! Twin draw through FTW!! my quote to live by is "nothing exceeds like excess!" Stu.
  23. I've got an idea on a new rear end setup it's still leaf sprung but it's a little different. But I'm not going let it out until I know it will fit and works. I've also latched onto an r31 borgy LSD. Should have my new conrods next week and I'll have photos of them up when they arrive. Stu.
  24. Hhmmm that sucks. What about twin draw through setup? Stu.
  25. Ddooo it. You know you want too!!! I'm spewin I didn't race the 5kze before it was sold. Stu.
