  1. www.wolfcreekracing.com. Are mikuni distributor and are happy to post to Aus. I've bought rebuild kits from them in the past and hopefully some CV shafts for the r200 diff conversion in dads datto. Stu.
  2. Wow they look great!! Hhmmm when I rang them(was 5yrs ago) I was told I needed to change to celica/corona strut. Very happy to be proven wrong though. Stu.
  3. Looking good mate!!! Good to see your making progress on the tune. Stu.
  4. Yeah mate I live on the peninsula. We have a couple of members down this way too. Stu.
  5. Hahahaha. I'll be attending in what I'm not sure. Might see if the guy next door has picked up his '63 slide window mini from resto by then. If datto is engineered buy then I'll bring that too. Stu.
  6. Don't forget the lifters. They should arrive Monday/Tuesday were cheaper than mine. Lol. But yeah was pretty happy with price too. I still think it will look cool in that shade though mate. Stu.
  7. Do you get dash lights? Have you run a multimeter on the battery. With the alarm in my KE-11 if I leave it for a week the battery is dead and I mean dead!! Like 0.4volts I don't even get dash lights or fuel pump when it's like that let alone get the starter to throw or turn the engine over. Stu.
  8. Screwed grears maybe on either the gearbox drive or speedo head? Stu.
  9. Was good to see the beast on the last donuts meet. It has turned out very nice. I do believe I'll take up that challenge in a few months. Stu.
  10. I'm pretty biased I love streets so it's shakotans for me. But i do like the others in blue, red or gold would also look trick. But then again we all know how good gold center rims look on your car!! Stu.
  11. Mine is(only from memory lost the card) 112 lobe sep, about .393" lift and about 270deg of duration. That was from Clive Cams. I told him I wanted power down low blah blah blah. Turned to me and says " you want to make a fair amount of power though, other wise you wouldn't have the blower on. Leave it to me." It had a fair amount down low(could take off in 3rd with a little clutch slip) and a real big wack at around 2800-3000rpm then pull hard to 6000rpm. All with the boost building sc/12 would have been perfect with a sc/14. I believe the instant boost of an sc/14 it would have smoothed it out nicely. Stu.
  12. Oh man they are awesome. You get like a chicken salt type seasoning. Put chips in bag then empty the salt into the bag and shake. Man I think I need to go get some now!!! Stu.
  13. WMMH. Maccas shaker fries and mc feasts are back!! Woohoo more 80's menu. Stu.
  14. Nice, I'll fix it in a couple of months as the owner of the car is overseas for a couple of months. Yeah we salvaged the conrods and studs. Had to machine block and crank again but everything else was bin fill!!! Good luck with the rally!!! Car is looking awesome. Stu.
  15. I thought they were webers sorry. Later down the track when your bored and are keen to play with em jump www.wolfcreekracing.com. They are mikuni distributors and the only Place I could get rebuild kits for the 40's we took off dads datto. But the new one should be perfect for you. If it's tuned right you should still get reasonable economy out of it. Stu.
  16. Very nice. But all looks pricey, wouldn't that money be better spent on getting the twins fixed? Just thought I'd throw that up to confuse you mate.lol Stu.
  17. hhmm you have just solved the biggest head f&@k on a 4agte I built for a mate. The same thing happened too but the idiot owner decided to just drive it till it stopped. Pretty much turned the oil into lapping paste and minced everything including new gt2871 turbo. Stu.
  18. WGMG. Hectic late mod v6 commo owners. You all out there know the type of person and car I'm on about. Vz-Ve, v6, 20's with gay double walls(it's not a 70's muscle car you tool), chev badges(no chev), big rattle stereo systems and motorsport style stickers along the bottom of the doors. Man it's not even quick let alone fast!!! I'm sure a few on here have seen the Facebook group"everyone knows someone that thinks his/her V6 commo is a weapon". Stu.
  19. WMMH. This thread, sooo many lols. WMMH. Seeing heaps more KE-1X's coming out of the wood work. Yeehaa!! Stu.
  20. Progress on the itb's or engine????lol. Or have you been playing around with that 4x4 supra too much? Now I know why the rolla is staying n/a. Cause if Poz was doing a det it would be crazy, if the 7m is anything to go by. Stu.
  21. Just gotta be really really soft on shifts and NO burnouts!!! I didn't break my k50 with my 100rwkw and stupid amounts of torque 5kze. In saying that it might be a bit noisy but the blower whine may have also been playing funny buggers with my ears.lol. Stu.
  22. Its simple. You need a big blower cam to unleash the fury. Lol Stu.
  23. Do you have the water lines connected to the throttle body? Webers4x48's twinky used to play up big time when it had an air lock in the throttle body. Just a thought. Have you done the diagnostic yet?? Stu.
  24. I'd be real careful Jake. Thats going to give you issues being your in Australia.lol. Nice looking brace though, noticed any improvement? Stu.
  25. Found I'd recorded this movie on the HDR yesterday and had to watch it again. Would be awesome done with real special effects. My sugestion would be "RAD" the most epic 80's bmx movie. Stu.
