  1. Saw BVA put on a seriously tight DJ set before Murs/RA the Rugged man a couple of weeks back. Nuts.
  2. yeh I was going to watch some television last night but i had a rocking swingers party to attend. still chafin'. :lolcry:
  3. Cam, have you ever actually tried that ke30 engine mount swap to upright the motor? Because I briefly tried it for this exact reason with no success, just wondering whether you've had better luck.
  4. I had 36mm tall unifilter assembly made for my KE16 tiwn sidedrafts, I believe they're an even tighter fit than KE20s. check the pics in my rides thread.
  5. HAHa, sorry man but that is FUNNY AS.
  6. WGMG - the lack of used panty dispensing vending machines in australia.
  7. I also think this project has merit. Do it. Post pics.
  8. Stupid fools. If you exclude Alaska, the US is only just a little bit larger than Australia in sqkm's.
  9. Upper sturt wreckers still there?
  10. No, it will change the ride height only, there may be a very, very minute change in stiffness because of the torsion bar angle. You wont notice it.
  11. If it's a drift car only, just buy a spacer, reality is that they're fine if fitted properly (ie enough stud length, not excessively large etc). They are not road legal, that is all, but it's a very simple fix to the problem.
  12. You mean they are clashing with the strut? only way to fix is to run spacers (possibly illegal) or to get wheels with a different offset. Replacing a strut wont help.
  13. Sorry mate but this discussion is pointless unless you know what your current compression ratio is. We cannot tell you squat, for all we know you might have a heavily shaved head or shallow dish pistons and already very high comp. Read up this page and download the software, it's very handy, it will tell you static and dynamic comp. You will need a reasonable (although not expensive) set of calipers, you'll need to measure the bore, piston sizes and calculate the volume of both the head and the piston dish etc. The calculator will tell you what your compression is. THEN, once you know your compression, you can start adjusting numbers to work out how much you need to shave your head to reach 11:1. Asking here for a simple "take 10 thou off" won't get you anywhere.
  14. I reckon you'd be better off fixing your existing setup OPH13, struts are a bit trickier than you might realise (to do properly).
  15. I don't see it being handy at all to be honest. State regs differ widely, the systems in each state have significant differences and at the end of the day, your car gets defected because it doesn't meet your state's road regs. Like I always say, if you are concerned about legality of your car, go straight to your transport authority, get a copy of their regulations and if necessary, speak to an approved engineer.
  16. yeh if I recall correctly, the link's on the rear swaybars are fixed, unlike front ones that are usually adjustable.... So no love there, I aplogise. You could get them reset, but before you do that, redo all the bushes, worn leaf spring bushes would do it.
  17. Lefty loosey righty tighty is fine..... except if you've got the spanner at 6 o clock on the bolt, not 12 o clock.
  18. cheers Trev. still hurting from a huge session!
  19. swaybar adjustment could improve it, if you have a rear one.
  20. I used Motospray on mine, held up pretty well, some bits lifted but I think that was my prep. If you get a block dipped, put paint on it immediately, it's bloody hard to clean rust off a cast iron block.
  21. well it probably wasn't the slowest thing around by any measure, we pulled out the stock 1300 and dropped a 1600 in. I used to drive it like a mad man through the hills, it was fun. Probably slow was the wrong word. I loved that car..... My sister bent it then my cousin really bent it.... pity.
  22. yeh I see it all the time up here as well. I also see your wagon 36panvan but never when I'm in mine. You were at murray bridge a few weeks back? I was in that big ass red wake boat, I was gonna come say hi but you shot through.
  23. GA Galant. Looked alright, nicely tinted and mags. SLOOOOOW. Handled like snot. I loved it.
  24. TW engineering in St Agnes are also shit hot.
