  1. Probably less than $100.
  2. If this turns into a cop bashing thread, it WILL be closed.
  3. Spent the day re-assembling an Evo6 rally car for a mate. It was originally a Rallyart built car, and thus I now have a couple of neat ideas for my car.
  4. Well, you're going to be fabricating like a barstard to put the 4 link in, so you may as well investigate turreting the rear like the group 4 escort.
  5. Please put it in the wanted to buy section, not the regional forum.
  6. According to the ACL catalog, yes. These look like .010 over main bearings as well.
  7. I was more thinking stroke, as he didn't specify what he wanted.......
  8. Fixed.
  9. Goolge is your friend, Max. This took approx 15 seconds of research to find this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_K_engine and a 5K has the same crank as a 4K
  10. Springs, shocks, swaybars. In that order for replacement. I have some Falken Azenis 175/60-14 that rocked my little world. Bit soft for a road car but.
  11. I wouldn't buy a camshaft unless I know the specs. There's a good chance they "borrowed" the specs off someone else, anyway. And if they didn't, there's only so many different cams unless they've successfully re-invented the wheel.
  12. Dude, just quietly, this thread is over 2 years old. Try to keep discussions a little more current... :y:
  13. Take .060 off it and go from there. (Says the man with a head with .100 off it....) And for Christ sake, do some research.
  14. Firstly, hello all and thanks for your patience, I should do the write up tomorrow or Wednesday. Ian: I have in the past used a Suzuki Swift master (ferociously expensive for a new one...) and am now about to put a RWD 323 one in with remote reservior. I'll let you know how that one goes......
  15. There seems to be no consistency to who it is. Male or female. Big or small. It's like they're not on the same roads as the rest of us. Oh, and DO NOT talk/ text on your mobile. It's illegal and dangerous. Unless you have "punters eyes" (one each way) you can't text and watch the road at the same time. No, before you say anything, you have to look at the screen at some point.
  16. Hello to all of you in P-plate land. This one is for you, as Uncle Dwarf would like to have a friendly word with you. Now that the community is considering you to be adults, and have given you a drivers license, here's a few tips from what I've been seeing on a sorrowfully regular basis. DO NOT weave in and out of traffic. It doesn't get you anywhere faster. DO NOT consider the speed limit to be a hinderence. It's there for a reason, and society expects you to be driving fairly close to it. You DO NOT have the experience to know better than your fellow drivers. DO NOT interact with the people in the car with you (all 16 of your mates on the way to a party,) to the detriment of taking notice of what's happening around you. Driving like a tool around myself and my family is only going to end up very poorly for you if anything happens. DO NOT do burn-outs or hand brake turns in populated areas, lest a half full Corona bottle will enter your car through the closed passenger side window. DO be considerate, let people in if they're changing lanes, and acknowledge others if they've done the right thing. DO try to at least acknowledge that there are road rules, and please try to obey the larger potion of them. DO have a good hard look at yourself. In the grand scheme of things YOU are at the most dangerous time of your driving career. The big three killers on the road are fatigue (not a biggy for you guys) inattention (If I see another P-plater on a mobile, or talking/ looking at their mate in the back seat.... you get the picture....) and inexperience. Does this last one ring a bell? 18 year old drivers have double the risk of DYING on the road than someone who is 25. (Ref V-facts) Pull your collective craniums in, and make it to your 21st birthday. Please.
  17. There's a story of Kankkunen coming into service in the 205T16 with a severed finger in one of the aft air intakes.... It was considered lucky in some countries to touch the cars as they went past!
  18. ..... and I've got a trailer to move it with.......
  19. No, I think you've got the right feed back. The mob has spoken. :)
  20. No idea. The one above came in from Mexico via New Zealand (I think). It was a standard road car on arrival, and is one of probably less than 10 in the country. *edit* I've found out that there's at least 14 in the country. Who'd have thought??
  21. I really like the Alpines, although you have no comprehension of how small they are. This one belongs to a mate of mine:
  22. Pull your head in, otherwise very shortly you'll be saving for a monthly bus pass, or we'll be taking a whip around for a wreath.
  23. Hmmmm.... You're right, any of the Audi's, but mainly the ones with the Blomqvist/ Waldergaard/ Mikkola heritage. The Lancia 037 is another, just purely for heritage. I'd love to own or even drive a car where names like Walter Rohrl and Markku Alen have previously parked their arses. And ..... oh!!!! the RS200, ex the one and only original "Stig", Mr Blomqvist himself. Wheelbase and weight of a card table with 450hp. Automotive porn. And for those of you too young, pop off to youtube and bang in a couple of those names. It was a time when men were men, Michelle Mouton was Queen, trees were nervous, and spectators fearless.
  24. The natives have spoken. I think this has run it's course. Myles, if you start threads, a bit of interaction from yourself through out the life of it wouldn't go astray. :)
  25. This bloke over in England has a couple for sale...... http://www.morrisandwelford.com/rally.html
