  1. I doubt it very much.
  2. Yes it will fit. You have to scallop/ machine the sides of the bores for clearance for the big end, as it will hit. You also need to slightly modify the sump for the same reason. You will need to find pistons to fit. A 4k block is 10mm higher than a 3K, therefore standard pistons will protrude that much. I used charade with custom made pins. It's a lot of screwing around. Use a 4K.
  3. This is getting into the realms of illegality. Therefore the board does not condone this activity. If you want to keep the thread,I'd be steering the conversation away from squirters. There won't be a second warning.
  4. 4.1 manual, 4.3 auto (generally, there are 4.2 and 4.4 and 4.5's Jap's out there as well) in a 30/55.
  5. Short of physically seeing and hearing the problem, nobody here is really going to be able to help you. It might just need a decent tune-up. Pay the money, get it right. If you can't afford it, ride your bike until you can. Sometimes you just have to spend the money.
  6. Find a good mechanic.
  7. I'll see what I can do. :lolcry:
  8. Reset the tappets?
  9. I will say this but once, and all you young 'uns take heed. IF YOU USE AN EASI-OUT, DRILL THE HEAD OFF FIRST. Because if you snap the easi-out in the bolt (Oooohhh yes, it's REALLY easy to do...), you will never drill the head off, because the easi-out is made of unobtainium, the hardest material known to man. Then you really are cactus. You will find that if you drill the head off anyway, you may be able to slide the head over the bolt, and have easier access to get vice-grips on what remains of the bolt.
  10. Someone like Blackwoods should have them. You just need a standard ratchet to ise them. I've also seen them at Bunnings, but I don't know if they stock them now....
  11. Buy a Metrinch socket. They grip on flats, not on corners. Thats what I use.
  12. I know a couple crew with EVO's going down. I'm not, as I need to spend a weekend at home for political reasons. :D I'm still yet to see a faster KE70 rally car than Tony Scott's car (TRD on this forum). You should come up here and see it. :y:
  13. You'll change the occasional box, but not each time you go out. I had a K40 in my old rally car with the 3K, and I only went through a couple. It was putting out figures (albeit NA) at about what you're quoting.
  14. I spent yesterday driving an FWD rally car at Willowbank Autocross for a charity day. It was........ strangely alluring. I still feel dirty though. :y:
  15. They'll put up with most things an NA K motor will throw at them if you don't drive like a rock ape.
  16. Karl Age Jensen, Danish Rally. Ends up in some blokes bed room. Home owners a champion. :y: And stay to the end..... BOOOOOOOONNNNNGGGGGG!!!!!! http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=8E164vdn__Y
  17. Cool. Done. Beerhead, all good. :) Gentlemen, continue. :)
  18. I have split the FE discussion off this thread, and can be found here: http://www.rollaclub.com/board/?showtopic=25087 My apologies if this thread is now a little disjointed. R
  19. Good discussion. :) But it is rather off-topic from the original post, so if you guys want to give it a name, I'll split it. Cheers :)
  20. Aircraft that cease to work in a manner in which the manufacturer intended. I'm off to bed now.
  21. I really think this one has run it's course. If nobody has any objections, I'm going to lock it now, and go to bed. :( |blink|
  22. Yep. Agreed. Unmolested means original paint, wireless, wheels, hell, I've seen some still with cross-plys on them. It's like the grossly overused term "overrated". If I see another shitbox 70 advertised as overrated, when it's been buggerised by every man and his canine, I may go postal.
  23. Dude, I have a 3K that big, with performance figures vastly exceeding those stated above. You too can do the same with a 4K or 5K, if you put the effort in.
  24. I resemble that remark. |blink| I'd be wanting to see the chassis number.
  25. Bob Hoover in his Aero Commander. One of the greatest to ever fly an aircraft. http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=9ZBcapxGHjE This bloke is almost as good. "Tex" Johnson barrel rolling a 707 prototype, circa late 50's. http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=-vHiYA6Dmws
