  1. Link removed due illegal content. Thread locked. Time to grow up and be responcible members of society.
  2. Cool, I'm a Moderator. That mustn't include me. :y:
  3. Start here: http://www.rollaclub.com/board/?showtopic=2341 And, as previously stated, search. Save some money. If you don't have money for a decent motor, how are you going to afford drifting? The axles will snap, as they're too light. Chopped springs are dangerous and illegal, and you're going to spend a long time trying to find a cat on a 70, unless its the furry feline variety.
  4. Pictures go a long way with this kind of thing. Enigne? At the end of the day, it's worth what someone will pay. Don't expect hug dollars, as these cars are not (IMHO) in the desireable catagory yet.

I'm posting this in the South Australian section because you guys are the ones causing 95% of the nausea I have to put up with in the classifieds area. I'm REALLY tired of the continual "nice car, but I've got no money" useless posting. Your collective habit of turning classfied threads into chat rooms is really pissing me off. You are all officially put on notice that this is to stop. Now. Posts will be deleted without notice, warnings issued, and for serial offenders, holidays given. It's not hard to comply. When you give free bumps, you are inconveniencing your follow Rollaclub members by lowering their posts. Have more consideration, and treat others with the respect that you would like shown to you. This is non-negotiable. Don't like it? Start your own forum. Posting is a privilege not a right. R

I think you should start using punctuation to make your posts more readable.
  7. That would require me to have some knowledge of technology. My refrigerator has more computers than my car. That should give you an idea of my skill level. Am happy to converse via PM's though, or in this thread.
  8. Very early 20's had 4 wheel drums. All 25's had discs on the front and drums rear. You can mount 55 discs and calipers to 20 hubs. When I get off my fat rectum, I've got all the pictures to do a how-to. Get someone who knows whats going on and get a proper answer. R
  9. I'd be chasing a firm answer from transport before I went any further. It shouldn't be a "I think" answer, it should be "yes" or "no". A bit like the answer you want to hear about the power before you jam a knife in a toaster. (This is a personal view, as Rollaclub in no way endorses placing a knife or any other utensil in a toaster.)
  10. Aren't those problems just the suckiest? You look for all the normal logical things, and it ends up being something you'll never do again in 3 lifetimes. Still, all's well that ends well. :(
  11. Get a pair of tin snips, clip the top edge of the bracket, bend bracket, remove brake line. Install is reverse.
  12. Well, I knew the exact moment I hit Qld again. Skill level decreased, aggresion increased.
  13. Either that or hold the dizzy and rotate the car..... Thank you!! I'm here all week...... Sounds like it may be your issue though.
  14. Somebody has dug up that emoticon again, haven't they? Anyway, you've met me before, you already know that I'm not exciting.
  15. Crushy Crushy. I'll bring the beer.
  16. Waiting for my holiday photos to come back: Here's me speeding in Coffs Harbour Here's me speeding in Sydney Here's me speeding in Albury Here's me speeding in Seymour Here's me speeding in Melbourne Here's me speeding in Tocumwal Here's me speeding in Dubbo Here's me speeding in Coonabarabran Here's me speeding in Goondawindi Here's me speeding in Warwick You get the idea. I swear that Victoria now has more speed cameras the people. They need to change their plates to "Victoria: State of Paranoia"
  17. I saw my sisters 35 on the weekend, and I believe the flares on hers are RX3.
  18. Have to pick up Mrs dwarf and Dwarf Jr at the airport tomorrow, and must discuss with them. But will try to come. :P
  19. The fan belt is there so that if I lunch one mid stage, I know where a spare one is. :P Pity the fan belt out lasted the car.......
  20. Well, the theory I use is that if a weld starts to crack, it wil crack the length of one weld, ie a couple of inches, as opposed to along the whole length as would be the case if the weld ran full length. You do the same with a car.
  21. They MAY make them up for you, or you may have to get it done elsewhere. But they certainally should be able to supply the parts to do it. The thing that they will probably ask you for is the O/D of the strut tube to get the right I/D of the threaded section.
  22. Somebody like fulcrum or Pedders (or any other reputable suspension shop) should be able to provide you with just those bits. From there it's do it yourself.
