  1. Hmmm, yep, been there. I can also tell you that if you go for a leak and forget to wash your hands BEFORE you go, all modesty goes out the window........
  2. Goes to show how much notice I take of them!! ;) .... and proud of it.
  3. I don't recall there being a spoiler-esque lip on the boot. Oh, and I think he's parked across a driveway..... The kitten cannon exhaust just really does it for me, too. Now, where's my coconut?
  4. In Qld forced induction has to be mod plated with an LA3 plate.
  5. ^^^^^^^^^ That's it in a nutshell. Have everything that you want to do planned or your conversation will last about 15 secs after the first "I don't know yet". Their time is valuable, and having worked for one, they really dislike having it wasted. Remember the 6 P's. Prior Planning Prevents a Piss Poor Performance.
  6. Dude, when you build a rally car, you don't keep track of the price of things, you only scare yourself after a while! :P Fron memory, brand spankers re-core about $300? Anyone done it more recently than me, or know a better price? R
  7. Just get a triple core KE55 one. Bolts in and will do all that is required. I ran my very warm 2TG off one in QLD.
  8. And for (*&^% sake, your keyboard has lots of keys, most with letters on them. It is accepted practice on this board to use them. Please refer to the Rollaclub Rules. SMS speak is not an approved method of posting here.
  9. This thread is like masturbating with a cheese grater. Slightly amusing, but mostly painful. Go forth, use the search button. Explore this site, toymods, google. All the information is out there waiting for you. When you have the vaguest clue about what you want to do come back and see us. If you have to ask how much it is to do something, trust me, you can't afford it. You get it done and pay the money. For a budget, work out what you think it will cost, then double it, as there will be a heap of things you forgot. And if you can't do work yourself, you better have deep pockets. :P
  10. I've always colour coded the surrounds and grilles.....
  11. Welcome to Car Land, next stop, Poverty.
  12. Hmmmm, Pornstar. Hope you make it. :D I believe that may be in the section out near the wing tip, either that or you'll have to take a turn pedalling to keep the motors going!
  13. It hurts me to admit it, but I like the look. miles better than the old one IMHO.
  14. ....... oh, and the people associated with drifting. I wonder how it feels knowing that every race track owner in the country hates you?
  15. School holidays and the keyboard warriors that it brings. Prepare for another onslaught people.
  16. You don't need a hi lux or skyline diff. Too much weight, particularly with a 4K. You'd be swatting a fly with an axe with one of those. I don't rate the Tayell Phantom grip diffs. People buy them expecting them to be an LSD but they're not. Yes, they're better than an open diff, no they're not as good as an LSD or locker. Yes there are LSD's to suit Jap 2x style diffs. I've had one. No you won't be able to get one locally. Don't know about O/S or The KP diffs. If second is crunchy, just get another K40 box. There's a tree somewhere that produces thousands of them. Build your 4K, put it the car, go racing. Get priorities happening from there. Suspension would be next on my list, then maybe drivetrain. I ran with an open diff for a few years and unless you want to be a fooly sic drifter, it wont hold you back that much.
  17. I ran a K40 box behind my very warm 3/4K for years and years. Good strong box, the only time I had issues was when rallying, 3rd gear didn't like being jumped (airborne style) and had a tendency to explode. For your application it will be more than adequate. Look for a 4.5 diff from somewhere, as that will do you favours in the hillclimbs.
  18. The search button is your friend, my good fellow. Come back to us with what you find. We do not spoon feed in here, particularly when this question has been done to death.
  19. Have a search, I know that I've posted pictures of mine before......
  20. ^^^^^^^^^ I'm with him. :) GOOD after market guage FTW, particularly on donks you've spent a bit of coin on. Cheap insurance.
  21. M12 x 1.25 :D
  22. Webers and Dellortos are much of a muchness performance wise. Weber parts are cheaper and more readily available than Dellorto. I consider Solex's to be good paper weights. (Damn, just saw the above post... :))
  23. News to me. What I can tell you is that the turret tops (on car) would need the three positioning holes changed as they're close but not a bolt in fit. The next thing would be is there enough space for the strut top (top hat) to go in the hole? The center hole would also need elongating. I personally think there are better options.
  24. 16 pages of turbo goodness. :D
  25. I can draw on extensive experience of bending 20 series Corolla's. I had the same problem a while back and it was fixed by changing the engine cross member. Other causes could be bent LCA, or buggered ball joint (doubtful)
