A spring is not necessarily a spring. Hint: Just because they say it's a 8kg spring doesn't actually mean that it's a 8 kg spring, or the ride height you actually want.
You can easily get yours converted. You can either buy a kit and do it yourself, or pay someone to do it.
Alternatively, why don't you just get the right height springs? Or do you just want to brag to your mates that you have "coil-overs"?
REALLY hard to get new strut tops for a twenty, and all the second hand one's are usually shagged. Mine need changing fairly soon and was looking to go to something else, due to the difficulty of getting decent condition right ones.
I have a hardtop fuel tank, surplus to requirements.
Nth side BNE. Six pack of Coronas will score it for you.
However, I'm in Adelaide until Monday morning. Yours if you want it.
Talk to an engineer. Anything anyone here says may or may not be right.
I've worked for one though, and I think you have Buckley's.
*Disclaimer* I have often been known to be wrong.
Dude, I did that to the manifold. It was my old one. You'll find that a lot of extractors don't fit with those manifolds, you just happened to luck onto a set that does.
When I bought them 15 years ago, they weren't that rare.
Without wanting to sound smart, whatever you can squeeze out of them, and how talented the bloke tuning them is, what timing you're prepared to run... etc.
