  1. Not a clue. The diff is for sale so i don't really want to go stripping it down to find out.
  2. I had twin DHLA40's on my mild 5K with 36mm Chokes. So that makes it a 36/36 36/36? I had better power figures on the dyno with the 36mm Chokes in Twin DHLA40's over the 32/36 Weber and the Twin 1.5" SU's that i had run previously. Not only did the dyno prove it, but i felt a noticeable difference in the driveability of the car. can't argue with solid first hand evidence.
  3. You have to get onto the website for your local road authority. Find the section for approved engineers. Call one up and make an appointment. *Make sure you have your info together*. If you walk in from the start and use words like "I dunno, i hadnt really thought about that", they will lose interest in you pretty quickly. First consultations are generally free. The final certificate here in VIC is around the $700 mark, but i assume that varies from Engineeer to Engineer. An extract from the Transport SA website. Transport SA
  4. I've got a needle sizing chart/book that lists all the available needles and their dimensions along the shaft, Came in quite handy when setting mine up. Its called "Carburettor Needle Profile Charts" by 'Burlen Fuel Systems'. I got my copy on ebat from a UK shop. For anyone else setting up SU's, i found Automatic Transmission Fluid worked better than engine oil in mine. $78 is a bargain. I sold mine recently for ~$500 on the manifold with linkages.
  5. Hopefully not on friday 29th Feb. Thats the earliest i could get my tax booked in for after work.......from last financial year :P Whoops
  6. KE30 - But i chose to replace the plastic with 12MDF and do away with any unecessary items/switches.
  7. To be honest i didnt even click the link. I'm glad i didnt waste my time either.
  8. Wow.....such a well worded and professional email from a high profile organisation. Do they think people are that bloody stupid to believe that? I get at least one a week from a well known bank saying i have to reply or my account will be closed.......too bad i don't have any dealings with the bank in question.
  9. How many of us are going to be spectating? My rolla is still off the road, so I may possibly go and watch the rollas strut their stuff.
  10. Pro Street Theres a few movies that i got a laugh from. Even if you don't want to watch the movies, the pics are more than entertaining. :)
  11. You had pics of YLD-TOY and 4DSHOW, and you only just decided to share them now?....very slack. Should have got movies of YLD-TOY, and incase you did.....post it already. ;)

  17. I think this was intended for VIC only. Just so we can help each other out with mates rates or the likes.
  18. Shopfitter and CNC Operator. Hopefully one of us does diff conversions.
  19. I agree whole heartedly. I stopped spectating years ago when it stop being about the regular talented drivers and their cars. I walked away from the scene when people solely went to do burnouts in the middle of intersections, and fights became a regular occurance.
  20. I reckon he did alright. The rotor is just making too much power for him.
  21. Years ago when i used to spectate, the police rarely booked the people racing (basically because they saw the lights and were in a prime position to bail). They always blocked of the exits and defected most cars that left. I was one of the few cluey ones that parked a few hundred metres away in a back street. Its only the silly posers that park their cars close and show off their pride and joy there that get booked. Admittably no one should be there in the first place, but it was years ago when it wasnt so out of control. These days Calder Park has Friday night meetings to combat it. The one time i parked close, the cops came over and made a note of my license number and warned me not to come back. It worked for a few weeks till the whole hoon scene calmed down and changed locatons. VIC has strict hoon laws already. Fines, court appearances, confiscation of your car etc I'm surprised other states hadn't caught on until now.
  22. CLICK Found the link on Ausrotary for obvious reasons. Mine will be sporting a Rotor in the coming months, so my palms are pretty sweaty after watching that.
  23. I think the event company is in for a rude awakening when they wake up to the fact that the kids experience involves listing the details on a website. I guess its just a bit of advertising for the Event company at least.
  24. He's the typical type of tool that infests that area (Narre Warren). $100 bet that he drives a Commodore too. 8/
