  1. You can clearly see the ridge extending out past the gable end.
  2. I got knocked back on a N/A 13B.
  3. The snake to the right of the pink ball?
  4. The water splash is a werewolf standing up.
  5. I'm from Melbourne, so i can't give you a business to go to. Avoid shopping at Autobarn, Repco, Bursons etc.....they will charge you like a wounded bull and don't provide the colour matching service that you need. Search on yellowpages.com.au for "Automotive Paint" in your area/region. I gave a quick search for you and found Protec in Gillman. Maybe the following business would be more suitable. S.A. Color Pty Ltd For All Your Crash Repair, Paint, Equipment, Tool And Supply Needs 10 Jordon Rd Melrose Park SA 5039 ph: (08) 8277 6555 Go to a specialst Automotive Paint shop and they will match the colour paint that you desire.
  6. I've seen these. I hear they are going on a Rotorolla.
  7. Find a new paint supplier if thats the price for Automotive Acrylic. Its generally $50/L or ~$160-180 for 4L.... given a certain type of paint. The price i gave you is what I payed for Automotive Acrylic paint at full retail. Its only gone up about $10 since my last respray a few years back. Acrylic paint, like 2-pac can be mixed into basically any colour you desire.
  8. Assuming your using Acrylic 4ltrs Thinners ~$15-20 2ltrs Paint $40/L for a semi decent brand. Can get cheaper. Prepsol $10 Wet and Dry Paper + Cutters + Polish + Masking Tape = $50 Tops So roughly $150
  9. Yes, It will be ample
  10. I'm still running KE30 LCA's if i remember right. I recall using the sigma or even corona? LCA's gave a bunch of neg camber, hence why i stuck with using the std KE30 LCA's. I think most of the extra track comes from using the corona struts and hub setup. They seem to be alot more chunky and have more offset (hub wise) than the smaller KE30 setup. (I havent measured this....its just how it appears to me) Chopping LCA's or re-drilling holes is a definate no go. The engineer is using the specs for a TE37. I currently have 1358mm Track front and 1365mm rear. So going by TE37 Specs: (+25mm Front and +50mm Rear allowed by Vicroads) Front 1320 + 25 = 1345 (13mm under what i have) Rear 1335 +50 = 1385 (Rear easily passes) BTW, my car is a 'KE30' with 4x114.3 PCD
  11. I'm after info on what type of car runs this size rim. I have found plenty that run 15"x6" 30P or even 40P and 45P. Unfortunately I need something in the low 30's. My car got knocked back on engineering for having 13mm too much front track. So I changed from 15" x 6.5" 25P, to 15" x 6" 30P and that got the track down by 12mm. So if the engineer wanted to be picky, he could still knock me back on the 1mm. (I measured the above specs in real life. However i'm not sure that the online calculators back up my measurements) My other option is to take my 15x6 30P rims to a wheel repairer and get 1-2mm machined off the mounting face to get me a few mm under the track limit. The above is what I will be doing after the easter break, if nobody can name a wheel/car that has the sized rims i'm after.
  12. Search. There are heaps of topics already. One of which i replied to, just last week or the week before.
  13. Yep $80/hr labour PLUS $120/hr Dyno Time PLUS Parts So its effectively $200/hr plus parts for a mechanic to drive my car on a dyno and change some jets. They may have a good reputation but i refuse to pay that. I had my 5K tuned up by them years ago when they were near Moorabbin Airport. Back then they were reasonable. When i dropped into their new workshop a few months back, it was full of early 20 y/olds dickin around with what i assume was a customer car. Either way, bouncing the car off the limiter....."Check it out Uleh".....is no way to get me to trust them with my car. Car gets inspected tommorrow, so I guess I'll get the good news that i have to quieten it down, and raise the car and tune it up as a bare minimum.
  14. Been to Ace - Never Again Mammi Motors fabricated my Rotary into my car. Had my car tuned there twice now. Not waiting for a 3rd strike. I'll pay Powerplay a visit next week. Its costing me a fortune in towing fee's as it is, so Thornbury isnt high on my list at the moment. Anyone been to Carby Better in Moorabbin?
  15. This time i'm after a Automotive tuner that knows DCOE webers like the back of their hand. I had the Rotorolla tuned recently (at a Somerville workshop) and well.....i could have done a better job. Unfortunately the engineer is all booked in and the tow trucks are all paid for. So i'm anticipating it getting knocked back. So i'm getting things in order now to get it all sorted as quickly as possible. So if you know of a reputable workshop preferably in the SE Melb region, please post up the details here. Somewhere in Moorabbin would be awesome. Also if you know of a good exhaust place that does dB testing, post up the details here. Daalder in Dandenong is the only one I know of on this side of town.
  16. As far as i'm aware, the AE86 stud pattern on camber plates is not identical to KE30/55 but they are suitable for Ke70's. No idea on the actual length of the SV21 struts.
  17. Or you can cut down the struts before the sleeve is welded on, to suit the length of shorter stroke SV21 Camry Struts. No further mods are needed as you can bolt your KE30/55 strut tops straight onto the camry's push rod.
  18. Pedders can do the job for you. Trade price for cutting the struts, supply and welding on the sleeves and supplying the springs was about $500. If you don't get trade price, expect to pay at least $1000. I think i retained my extisting KE30 steering arms.
  19. Unfortunately i didnt get a chance to check rollaclub until i got home, so i just sent him an email now. Hopefully he hasnt gone home for the day. Didnt get to him in time before the weekend as i havent got a reply. So i'll let it go in for engineering and pay another workshop to sort it out if/when it gets knocked back. So i guess the hunt/request is over. Thanks
  20. Just a request for anyone with a few/selection of DCOE Weber jets to lend me them for a few days. My Rotorolla is going in for engineering on Monday and its puffing a bit of black smoke at idle, with a nasty flat spot at 2000rpm. Needless to say the workshop that tuned it, didnt do very well. So i'm making a last ditch effort to throw some different jets in to try and get rid of the black smoke. You'll get your jets back after engineering, as i can then book the car into get tuned up properly. I currently have a 48DCOE, so i don't know if parts are interchangable with the 40's and 45's, but i'll try anything at this point in time. The request now extends to coilover springs. 65mm Internal diameter and preferably something in the range of 250mm in length. These will be a loan situation as well. I pay in either cash or grog for your efforts
  21. I have used the pre wired ones you can get off ebay. Infact i used them in the dash as indicator, highbeam, oil pressure etc lights mounted in chrome bezels from Dick Smith. They come pre wired with resistors and long wire leads. $10-$15 will get you 20 pre wired LED's delivered to your door. Last time i bought super bright blue LED's, the pricetage was a few bucks each.... EBAY Alternatively, why don't you consider using cold cathode tubes or the likes of. Plenty of light and only two wires to connect.
  22. TasFreight gave me the cheapest quotes and it was hassle free.
  23. Agreed. I had the same issue many a year ago. The valve was stuffed, most likely from age or even me tugging on the pipes trying to pull the hoses off during the many engine changes. At the time they were still available through Toyota Genuine Parts. A bit pricey though at around $80.
  24. Thanks Mate that is exactly the info i needed. If the engineer accepts the TE models as a comparison, that means i really only need to lose 1" of front track. If he uses the ke models, i'll have to lose 50mm on the front and 35mm on the rear. not overly bad considering i'll be going from a 7" rim down to 6" rim in a custom offset.
  25. I read it like that for other modifications. I didnt realise it applied to the track as well. Thats some very handy info, Thanks. So I guess i'll open it up to all models of the *30 range. If you have the specs i'm after, please fell free to post them up.
