just put some 13" mazda rims on it anyway, they've almost become a part of the 'rolla family' :P

that's an interesting spot there kangaroosa... i'm still yet to spot a RC sticker at highpoint :P this one has me stumped... was a 4dr wagon, ke2X lights on the front... i wasn't aware that the 20's came in 4dr wagons, any help on this??

i know exactly what you mean about missing the rolla love :P i was car-less since late 2004, after driving a KE70 which had been in the family since new, which i promptly destroyed over the course of 13 months (another story) around november '06 my boss was sick of his el xr6 clogging up his front lawn, so i bought it cheap, managing to sell it 6 months later...then within 2 weeks of getting rid of it, i found myself with a ke55 coupe and a ke20. very nice acquisitions, can't wait to see more of the 20 :D

definately speak to an engineer, work out the largest engine you can put it (size to weight) then cross off 90% of your list :P and go from there...

some more early KE love, this time a beige/cream ke11 cruising down across the front of work this morning around 8am. lady driver, probly had it since new. she didn't wave to me as she went past tho, a bit disappointing.

i thought that i was doing well on wednesday with all the rolla's i saw... when on TV last night, while watching That 70's Show, Red and Kitty arrived home in an orange-y ke30 4dr sedan. and then this morning there was a ke10 parked out the front of the eastern entrance of highpoint, took a few pics of it, but too lazy to upload them. if people hassle me enough, i could get them up later wee...time to rest over the weekend, hopefully. dfunkt

yesterday was a corolla-fest at work... faded brown ke38... looked pretty bad, but minimal rust white rusting out ke30 4dr... was well beyond repair, with most of the areas surrounding doors having major rust running thru them brown ke55 4dr... fairly clean, didn't get a chance to check it out up close, driven by a mid-late 30's lady 1 white and 1 silver ke70... the white one is an old ladies, disabled permit and all, and th silver one had p-plates and was flying around the carparks

i reckon you could get away with the black, given the color of your 20...

i almost went to ballarat yesterday too clown...glad i didn't!! would've taken forever on the icy roads...

interesting that the early ke30's had the 3K-H... my '74 ke20 has a 3K-H. sly t, check the ID plates of your car.

ok, since its gonna be your missus' car, presuming it'd need to be road legal. find out the legal size of the largest engine you're able to put into a ke20, then work from there. oh and yes, ^^^^^ up there is a good start, try searching a lil bit. there is a photo of early corolla curb weights somewhere, either here or toymods...

that interior looks the shizznit against the paint color :)

my mate has also had his car smashed a bit. they apparantly wanted the stereo, but i don't think they ended up taking it, as it was a cheapo one. something around $450 for glass.

Sim, the horn in my KE20 is set up the same way, only the right hand side has a spring behind it. it shouldn't matter going thru vicroads so long as that one side works :dance: i got mine checked for roadworthy about a month ago, and it passed dfunkt
