  1. I paid $16.95 Euro shipping on a boot badge. about the size of a school ruler. i shipped some personal gear back from europe the size of a shoebox, weighing around 2 kgs, that cost me $30 Euro. go figure, they all just grossly over-estimate and pocket the profits...
  2. i don't believe there's room for "hopefullly" in that sentence. nor are the "crosses fingers" necessary  now doesn't that look much better 8|
  3. it's nice to see that the health of your car comes first webers :) i sure hope the cooling problem is fixed... and depending on how far i can get with my engine swap i may or may not be there.

  5. pls tell me that you drove it home....that 25 should be on the road. such a waste :P
  6. ahh, so many hi-jinks me and my mates got up to with each others cars, all ke70s. opening them up and leaving notes... turning them around to face the other way in their driveway...swapping them in general, as they were the same color and model...ahh the fun times :D
  7. enjoy yourself rawke20, nothing like performing a heart transplant with a few mates and a lot of beer :) speaking of which, i'll be going round and helping a mate do a 4age swap also today. then he'll be helping me with my 5k removal and swap in the coming weeks...
  8. how much further until that yellow thing with the 4wd ride height is complete poz?? :)
  9. ok, the slow turnover sounds like the battery is on the way out (or has already died). the clicking thing that happens when you go to turn it over is a sticky solenoid in the starter motor i think, as my parts car did this. i'd have to keep turning the key from ON to START repeatedly (around 10-15 tries) until it finally turned over. cheers dF
  10. lol, reminds me of my baseball coach making a "garden feature" of that design out of a pre-fab concrete wall... i'll try and hunt down the link. Big Finger found it :)
  11. go to the members' rides' thread' and check out all the ke1x's there... or use the search function up the top. they're your best friends when it comes to rollaclub :)
  12. FAQ Diff Gears is your friend
  13. christ kangaroosa, that engine conversion was freaking quick!! but not as quick as your rolla will be... **EDIT** just looked at the rotarolla thread...ignore me tonite, too many beers...
  14. i sure hope this thing is putting out more than my 20 is currently...then again, it's not all that hard to beat 26.2rwkW :y: but don't worry, that'll change soon. can't wait to see it again in the flesh. cheers dF
  15. i'll save you the trouble stu. Taken from TM thread
  16. you could probably check out the legislation for your state somewhere online. or you could get an engineer's certificate for whatever wheels you want on it.
  17. i'm sure everyone could just pile into nobbler's Val for the trip...split the petrol bill 20 ways and still end up paying $400 each :y:
  18. Matt, there'll be plenty of spare seats for you to come along. drive with your dad to the first meet point, socialise for a bit, then send your dad back in the car and you jump in someone else's for the trip :D too easy
  19. alright, i've been doing alot of hunting today over my lunch break, and have finally found some specs on the 5K-U :y: i know it's not the 5K from the Aussie ones, but it's the best i've got so far CLICK HERE hope this helps more than just me

  21. yeah, i should be able to get you the measurments tonite. also, would be good to know exactly who is after one, as there is only 4 people in the thread interested.
  22. the late model ones have too much 'nothing' around the lights, and they're recessed, but jut out at the same time.
  23. you gotta get some of the ke35 coupe tail-lights...look much smoother.
  24. i'm fair interested... Group Buy FTW
  25. like a time capsule...looks like it was done as a promotion for DX lubricants. i guess it was to see how they'd perform after sitting in a car for so long.
