  1. Update time for me... haven't really done much recently - had an issue with charge, where by the regulator (after some 100K) understandably was on its way out. So spent the first 20 minutes at work in the carpark yesterday (with the aid of tools from the shelves :)) replacing that. Secondly, I finally got around to fitting/tinting my new tail lights - came out alright, however, there seems to be about a 5mm depth difference between the rear boot cowling and the lights...so I'll need to investigate this further. Pics...(NB, needs a wash i know - but haven't exactly had time, hehe) "Grrrr...I'm a BIG car" - Pose... Also, I managed to score some SS callipers off Ebay for just under $100, so looking forward to getting them...Alls I need now is some 15s (in a similar style to the SX) for not very much, and I'll be apples :(
  2. With that sort of clearance, hello AE82 Corolla RS :) Also, a unanimous decision about how best to remove an engine was made. - Count the number of bolts needing to be undone, multiply by how many "helpers" = the amount of beer that will need to be purchased. Now, every time a bolt is removed, stop for a few moments, and have a celebratory drink. Job might not get done to quickly, but very fun way to do it...

Hey matt, what shirt size are you? hey, and I was thinking for numbers, why don't we make it quirky; Matt - 7k, I'd be 92, or E9, Sonya - 304 (ke30 4 door), Dave - 302 (ke30 2 door), Kim - 82 or E8, Dave 27...just a thought - feel free to ridicule, hehe
  17. Howdy - I figured this has to be shared around. Today (escaping my studies for a quiet 3 hour drive), I stumbled across this little gem of a road. It starts off climbing, with a few tight bends, then becomes more flowing with undulations as you climb. The road, full of character then ducks and weaves through trees and open fields, with fantastic views either side, and areas to pull off once in a while. Then, about halfway in, there's this nice little challenging series of corners that goes up, then comes down the side of the mountains. Then the road opens out again, to more undulations and sweeping bends. I was fortunate enough to go the whole distance without encountering a single vehicle to get in my way, but if every anyone has a spare few hours over a weekend, I highly recommend it. Cheers Folks Andrew True Love is an Empty Road
  18. Small point of Note (From PBR book at work) - Finally got around to it listings are as follows 6/89 on All body types, Disc/Disc, Disc/Drum 22.22mm dia P10320 Brake M/cyl K8300 Kit - B M/cyl 6/91 on Hatch Back, Disc/Disc, GTi Model, SX Model 23.81mm dia B227-008 Brake M/cyl K8471 Kit - B M/cyl the latter part numbers are discontinued, which is why they no longer appear on the PBR website - when I did my upgrade, I originally tried to order the new master cylinder, but was told that they were no longer available - so I tried to get one from an S2 Car but to no Avail. not sure on the bias setup, but I figure the only reason why they'd use a larger bore, is to ease brake effort... my 2c

  23. Howdy folks I have a Reco'd Bosch starter motor for A model of corolla....just not sure which one. Housing number is 9 001 065 Motor number is 9 000 062 Solenoid number is 9 330 061 050 from the Jaylec website, it looks to be possibly suitable for a ke30, however, due to Bosch having no useful product listings, and Ashdown-Ingram only having catalogues available for retail/trade customers, I can't really bring up much info on it.
  24. If they had pizzas, it would make much, much more sense...
