  1. And while your at it...Engine painting :P
  2. Only the small port 4age had the 100kW. The 7afe, had (i believe) 88kW. If it does have the 100kW motor, make sure all numbers match up on rego/reciepts... (Edit - the Silvertop 20V had 118kW.)
  3. Oh...sucks... F*&(ing victorian cash cameras. i mean, really - its not as if they use the proceeds to put back into the roads - the geelong ring rd is a joke, the monash is taking 3 years to complete, east link was outsourced...its all crap.
  4. Spotted a white KE70, exiting Centro Brandon Park at 9.35PM - had some sort of alloys on the front, and stockies on the rear.
  5. yeh, i might be interested too...so details would be great. cheers
  6. heh...farenuf...i avoided that, but mine stick up a fair way - fortunately, the view from the mirror isn't obstructed, as they are hidden by the front headrests. what size did you end up fitting?

    Playah!

preferably not the saturday, as i'll be working, but all for the sunday arvo maybe. what did dave do to himself? don't tell me he cut himself shaving again :P jks
  8. Wilwood brakes? tell me more - size, cost, mountings, how hard they were to get. love the attention to detail mate. although, what issues did you encounter with your parcel shelf? Fuel filter...err...ryco/k&n maybe, but i'm sure there are some better suggestions :P
  9. so long as you don't have 2 fat bastards sitting on opposing corners, jumping up and down, i think you'll be alright. these cars are built such that the steel is no-where near the yeild stress, thus they're still within their elastic limits. even if you did get some sort of load on a corner, as there is no weight from the engine, the chassis will be fine. and you also need to consider the forces involved with fanging this car around the corners near your joint - the chassis is designed to take it. take them off, you'll be alright.
  10. Howdy folks. I'm asking this on behalf of Johno, as he has no access to a computer, but we're not sure as to if there are any differences between the hatch and the seca fuel tanks. My reckoning (looking at the ae9x example) would be that there are no differences as the floorpan where the tank is, is identical between models, however, the placement of the jack is different, as the tyre in the hatch is positioned closer to the tank. Any clarification would be greatly appreciated. Cheers in advance Andrew

That and a photo shows the moment...not the next 5 minutes when you get owned by the other team, because of your uncoordination... :P
  15. OOO...errr...I doubt it, as the GOR cruise was awesome, and set the standard for cruises. Thus is one of the reasons why it is now an Annual event. However, I'm interested, When? what sort of route? it'd probably need to be a weekender due to distance...

Alls good....injury update - ended up with a bruise the size of a couple of cricket balls on my side...no fault of soccer however...I blame my diving prowess
  18. Alls good. yeh, this place is excellent for details on either conversions, or everything you want to know about the ke7 and the ae7 series...doesn't matter too much if its auto, as if/when you do go a 4a, you'll need the mounts for the t-series box anyway. all the same, do the research, be patient, and it'll all come together nicely...
  19. how about if people (read members) from out of state attend a cruise?
  20. WOW...that thing looks sweet. well done on the build. I love the complete stock look of the exterior, and interior for that matter. very cool...

  25. by my reckoning, you won on gross...with a handicap, your motor was burning 6.3L per litre of engine...mine was 6.5L....stu won with 6.85... :jamie: but still... yours is an awesome figure none the less...
