  1. Howdy all. Just looking at purchasing a set of speed bleeders for Mumbleweed (Wife's yellow RA60 Celica) and I was hoping someone on here can tell me the brake bleeder valve size? Yes I could wait till I get home and take the thing apart but I'd rather not if I don't have to :) Thanks
  2. FYI I have access to a Robowash and bead blaster ;)
  3. You've made my signature with that one... I love watching troll threads
  4. I agree with the old bloke :) If you ever want to learn how to rebuild a motor this is the perfect start. Just send the head of to get reconditioned, everything else is reasonably simple with a little know how or research. Get a manual of ebay. I assisted with the rebuild on mine, the hardest bit was re-kitting the carbies. The trick to them was getting the correct rebuild kit (fluked that one :) ) then taking one piece out and putting the new bit in, one bit at a time. Getting the timing and final tune all done will probably take some help but shouldn't cost too much if you do everything else yourself.
  5. +1 for pics. Would love to see how far you've gotten! And Gav, have you put pics up in the "inner sanctum" section yet? I'm so jealous every time I hear about your collection :)
  6. ...How did they all find out about her amazing cooking? :D
  7. Laughing so hard :lolcry:
  8. Love it!! Loved the old 70's TV mini series :D
  9. NIce work  Because of this I just googled "pimp my scooter" pics... damn some people go a little far!
  10. Cheap way to get a Toyota V6 ;) ... in FWD :(
  11. I was going to do my Rolla up in racing war paint... but the body looks so clean and now that I've got the chrome side strips it would look wrong. That looks so fun though.
  12. Can you confirm this? Have you seen them?? Edit: If this is true he should build a shrine for all us Rolla nuts to come see them (through thick glass of corse). It would be like our Mecca
  13. Fantastic photos as always! Just something that is bothering me.. how do you get in the car if you have a flat battery?
  14. It's amazing that for such a simple engine it can still be so many different faults. :hmm: Times like that I wish I lived next to a trustworthy mechanic (oxymoron, I know) that loved to help his neighbours.
  15. These are the guys that do the terrible quality rubber kit so I'd be wary.
  16. Looking great!
  17. Good work. I would keep an eye out for NOS genuine Toyota lights. They come up more often than you would think ;) The front of that guard looks almost as bad as mine did, mine were stretched so thin and out of shape that I had to scrap them and find replacements.
  18. I doubt Greenish Yellow is the actual name. Other than that I 'm not sure, it does look close.
  19. My guess is 521 Greenish Yellow http://www.toyotareference.com/corolla/1968-1970
  20. I don't think you'll find many people on RC that ever think it's not time to turbo  The only reason I can think of not to is if you plan to get this engineered. But I think you would get stickered if you engineered without turbo then added the turbo...
  21. Fantastic photos, thanks Adam.
  22. Back to the weather complaints, it's been below 0 the past 2 mornings at my place... not nice :(
  23. My 5K came with a 3 speed GM gearbox. It looked way too chunky for the tunnel so it's sitting out in the rain. Fitted the old Toyoglide instead, what's wrong with 50km/h
  24. To be fair he did say he had changed his mind. Cheap power... The old triangle comes into effect: Cheap, fast, reliable, pick 2. 4AGE is the tried and tested way to power but it's not overly cheap (properly done and engineered).
