  1. Filling it in with a '91. +1 with the above.
  2. Need be at GOR!
  3. Dude, please consider making a rides thread and put all updates/questions in there. 6 threads on the first page alone. Cheers :)
  4. Check the decimal point Mitch
  5. K engines should have their valve springs replaced with heavier duty springs over .420" of valve lift. The lift quoted on the card, is how much lift the cam lobe has on it. You multiply that by the ratio of the rocker. Which is the amount the rocker increases the lift that the cam lobe has on it. K engines have a 1:1.5 rocker ratio. Meaning for every .001" of lobe lift. The rocker produces .0015" of valve lift. This cam will give you .441" of valve lift. Which is lucky you replaced your valve springs.
  6. Yep. Just know it as i got the same one in my ute.
  7. Thats your lift @ lobe Multiply 0.294" by 1.5 which is your rocker ratio. That will give you lift @ valve EDIT. 0.294" x 1.5 = 0.441" lift @ the valve.
  8. With comments like that, and an Avatar like yours. People might start getting the wrong idea of you Mr Towe :fuzz:
  9. Go to a local machinist. ask em to make you a brass or steel bush to the dimensions above. Then all you have to do is swap gears and cut the tab off the end that spins a K oil pump. Bush like this
  10. Bahahahaha. Classic Carlos.
  11. The go would be to make a brass bush with something like a 36.1mm OD and 27mm ID. Loctite into 4AGE head. Slip 4K dizzy in. I'm also pretty sure the 4K dizzy clamp works perfect with 1 hole already in the GE head.
  12. I looked into fitting the 4age dizzy into a K block a short time ago. To fit 4K dizzy. Will need a bush for the dizzy to slide into. K dizzy diameter as the I.D and A dizzy diameter as the O.D. (will put up the sizes in a second). EDIT: You need to remove the dizzy drive gear from both distributors. Fit the A dizzy drive gear to the K dizzy shaft. Then trim shaft to the right length. The body of the distributors (from where they sit against the block/head) to the end (where the hardened washer and gear sit against) are the same length. The 4a dizzy's body drops down in size right at the end. You may have to grind/machine the K dizzy the same. Not sure if it was done for clearance of the cam in the 4AGE or for production costs.
  13. Me. I have one here at home. Still containing its sealed original Jap Toyota oil filter.
  14. The 32/36 IS the carb fitted to the 2L pinto motors in the Escorts and Cortina's
  15. Looks like a Bosch Ignition module that they used in Holden Blue and Black 6's Should be good!
  16. Sounds good man. can't wait to see it all back together again.
  17. Needs a hot-rodded 1UZ with quads disguised as Stromberg carbs
  18. ʞ©$ɟ! That's so many different kinds of awesome!
  19. Teddy. Does this mean. Rego is getting closer? or are you just messin' with us all?. I wouldn't want to think anything is happening with this car 'quickly' :fuzz:
  20. I heard they can be engineered, they must not be able to be set below lowest legal height. In SA that's 99% of he time measured from the center of the hub to the wheel arch. Not sure how they'd go interstate.
  21. Yea, doc gave me tomorrow off as well. Not sure weather to go in or take it off.
  22. The fact that an XT130 spring wont fit into a *E7* strut tower. So a spring can be wound the same diameter as the *E7* spring. Then the last coil or 2 is increased in diameter to suit the XT130 lower seat. Thats the best way to go. $300 gets you a HSD kit with Everything you need. All I found was that the spring top hat needs to be drilled out to suit the diameter of the shocker. All of them just come with an 8mm hole. Then you can adjust the height to what ever you want. and change the rate of the springs easy as.
  23. Thanks Rob :)
  24. Went home from work at lunch time. Went to the GP. Chest infection. Got me some antibiotics
  25. Put some XT130 struts and brakes in.
