  1. +1 for the carbon coat over everything. My KE30 had a straight out tip directly under the bumper. Paint on the rear LH Corner was always darker because of it.
  2. Win. The floor in the 38 is already properly modded for the 70 position.
  3. ^^^ That's the spirit!
  4. WTF Rian? WTF? looks like someone said, "Get me monkeys, make them sing"
  5. Weighs almost as much too! Needa fricken crane to lift my fricken gearbox :drgrim: Pretty much the strongest box that, using factory parts, you can bolt to a K engine. It was bloody cheap too!
  6. Yeaaaahhhh. No more blown K50's now!
  7. Good to see the manifold going to a good use, good work!
  8. Yea, it was like that when I got it. Re making it wont be too hard. I have a feeling this is out of a crown ute. Had a 4M bellhousing on it too.
  9. I have pretty much everything for your front suspension n brakes. Need to open up the holes in the Peugeot discs so they bolt up to the XT 130 hubs and make some 1.5mm spacers for the caliper mount. Getting there man
  10. Whaddup W50. CC&D can for size reference.
  11. C'mon KJ. $80 for places to stay. Cost me about $100 in fuel to get there last time. (4K, un-tuned 32/36, reving at 3,7000rpm with 4.5:1 diff) RKE-020 is keen on coming for the weekend. Just tossing up what car he will have.
  12. Engine sounds wicked! Any idea whats up with the bottom end. Sounds like she's possessed.
  13. Yewwwww. Needs vids n shit

    Spotted

Spotted that today. Been considering it for a few things. Spotted a blue KE30 with 55 long rear bar on the Strand Rd. Also a red twinky on Victoria Rd, Tapperoo
  15. +1 for the 5k swap. Simple. Easy and no mods. Although, depending on the year, if its an early model 36 it will have a nippondenso alternator with external regulator (little black box mounted between the battery and strut tower) You will need to retain the same alternator due to wiring differences. (if the one on a new engine happens to be a bosch alternator) So the alternator that you currently have should be put on to the new engine to reduce the chance of issues delaying first start up.
  16. How much did you have to mod the sump, pics? How did the stock computer cope with the boost? Did you use larger injectors, if so, what ones? Is the clutch different for the W series gearbox? Do you have to use a hydraulic clutch? What sort of power is it making? Dyno grabphs?
  17. Rob, since when did Redwart become Redwarf again? Did you get some liquid Nitrogen?
  18. Found my massive oil leak. f@$kin oil pressure sender leaking around the quick connect tab :abuse: Luckily I have a 4K sitting in the backyard, with the head off....Naturalising like the old rally teams did. Still had the pressure sender

  21. Hey Jason, Just need to be putting away some cash. Getting some stuff for the workshop. Trimming down the budget. Now, Now Tom. You could get me into some serious trouble here. There will be nothing of the sort.
  22. Good stuff! Glad to hear RC has delivered  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BdKIbu54088
  23. Nice Starlet mate! There is a worked 7K Turbo here in Adelaide. It MOOOOVES, to say the least
  24. Hopefully doing em Saturday if you wanna come for a cruise down south. On that note, 24hrs to go!
  25. are your pullies aligned? KE10, KE20, KE30/55 and KE70 all have different water pump shaft lengths. Each has their own pulley with the right offset to line the belt up.
