  1. Yep :y: . But in response, the turbo 112R's arent very common, and you're not gonna find one in a wrecking yard. Genuine toyota wil be fkn expensive, even then, they are prone to cracking, and poorly casted. Look at aftermarket or custom. My 2 cents
  2. Race engineering at Sumner Park do it Unit 9/ 32 Jijaws St Sumner Park QLD, 4074 Australia Ph: (07) 3376 6275 Also Dragway performance/engineering in Redcliffe apparently do them too.
  3. The Bog is registered!!! Our 2 and a half yaer old kept saying she wanted to go for a drive in Daddys new car, so we did. Went for a 45min-1hr cruise through the hills and bushland near my oldies place, it went awesome. Love the sound of the original speakers and the AM stations. Will be doing a HID conversion soon, also saving coin for a decent set of wheels with some offset . A few pics. For shits and giggles. Its bigger than the engine haha. Peace.....
  4. You put this in the rides and projects section. Heads up.
  5. I'm also a new KE55 owner, and i think its the same as most other cars that are 20+ years old. Rust, flogged engines and gearbox's, crash history and repairs. The great thing IMO is the availability of parts and the price of them. And great forums like this one filled with great fellow owners always willing to help with any sensible questions and problems. I love you rollaclub  :lovin: Hahaha....
  6. ^ :y: Does it slip into gear without the cluth? Does this happen in all gears?
  7. Id be super dooper uber keen to see a vid and outcome of a dyno!!!!
  8. Looks awesome man. Do you know why a 20v bottom end and a 16v head were used? Just wondering the reasoning behind it. How much power is it making? Best of luck.
  9. If you were a single woman.....Id marry you :rolls: Just for your cars hahaha.....
  10. Ok, names. I might call it "The Bog", cos thats what it looks like haha. Pulled all the carpet and insulation out today, vacuumed the hell out of it, cleaned consoles etc and also cleaned up the boot. I'm wondering how to set up a head unit and speakers now without raping the interior so it can be taken back to stock. Are the 2 threaded nuts/holes under the parcel shelf in 55's meant for baby bolts? I'm hoping so. I'm also organizing a HID kit atm, but only one of the lights has the removable H4 bulb, but it shouldnt be hard to find another non sealed light. Has anyone done HID conversions on KE30/55s? Yeah, i know they are supposed to be illegal, but my mate has been running a 55W 6000k setup for ages, been pulled over many times, but nothing was said about his lights.
  11. Id also like to know about the gutter rail chrome strips on a ke55. Can someone put up a pic maybe? Ill be removing them for a bit of rust repair, and don't wanna f@$k them. Ive got an idea how to remove them, just wanna be sure.
  12. :o WTF?!?!?! You can't be serious :o
  13. I don't have experience with ke20s, but the offset and witdth of the rims will play the biggest role in fitting. Do you want to go as big as you can? Or just a set that look sexy?
  14. None at all man, car went well too. Thanks again.
  15. Agreed, ive seen a few sets made that look sick. There is a KE30 wagon at the wreckers here in toowoomba with a set if 14" jellybeans, but they want $300 and i can't afford that atm. Also want to do a round headlight/grille conversion if anyone wants to help a bloke out  , also ke30 bumpers eventually. I was thinking of the name "Brum" haha.
  16. Hey guys, been a member and corolla lover (sometimes inappropriately) for some years, and ive had a many corolla rides and small projects. But this is my first KE, bought off GJM85 from here. Plans are, clean it up a little, treat the rust spots, Rego, then slowly do some small mods when finances permits me. Bit more power from the 4K would be nice, extractors and 2" exhaust to start with. But the thing i really want, is a nice set of wheels. But, I'm poor :( Its very very original, interior isnt molested at all, 5 speed, and still got the awesome cassette player and AM only radio :) . Cheers gavin, ill take good care of her. And i need some help choosing a name, any suggestions fellas? Pics will be up in a tick.
  17. The grafiti in the backgroung looks awesome. Damn i want your camera haha. Sexy little corolla man, not alot of people mod these models. Looks great.
  18. A 32 36 with appropriate jets and a tune will be fine.
  19. :y: :y: As above.
  20. Google search. Or search on here. 4ac, not alot of point really but...Weber, stractors and zorst, cam regrind possibly. Have a bit of a search bud.
  21. :y: Perhaps contemplating welding your diff. don't DO IT FFS!!!!!
  22. Have you got a workshop manual for it? Its pretty much step by step then. don't suppose you are upgrading anyting?
  23. Great to see you are getting there slowly. Better than rushing and giving up half way through.
  24. How different is the turbo going to sit with this? Is it close to the position it is now? 30 psi, can't wait to hear the outcome, you are a wild man :o
