  1. IMO, same colour as the car.
  2. Thats phuckin gorgeous, very nice ride mate. Plans for it?
  3. Nice work, spring compressor is nifty. Should inspire many people. Double springs will add a piece of mind too. We got flooded, but not nearly as bad as some. Thanks, Luke.
  4. As i said before, I'm in. Might not be as simple as just an account # though. Wanting to help fellow Rollaclub members none the less.
  5. Your work is awesome mate, ive been a welder/engineer for years, and i understand the thought you have put into what you do. Very nice work. And you must have one sweet workshop. Keep it up! Thanks, Luke.
  6. I like this idea, cos i can't physically help anyone out. Shouldnt be hard to set something up right? Trev, can't imagine what you're going through, wish i could help out :( . All the best with it man.
  7. Has to be a blockage somewhere, or your float/needle isnt letting fuel in. How long since it was running properly?
  8. OMG seriously? Thats insane.
  9. If people get a chance, can we put some pics up? Trev, whats it lookin like there? Good luck m8. Down my street.
  10. The vacuum lines on the 4a-c are a bitch, ive got a diagram here, but can't upload it. Id start there, then look into the carby. They are an easy and cheap carby to rebuild if need be. If its been sitting for a while the needle may be seized/stuck, but ive never seen this happen.
  11. Hope all you guys near the coast are ok, this weather is crazy. Take care, especially of your corolla's!
  12. Friends in Laidley have been evacuated, in laws near plainlands are still flooded in. Anyone know if the range is still closed? Thanks Rob, cars fine, but welders, power tools, thousands in hand tools, car parts, my boat project, mowers etc, fishing/camping gear everything was under almost 3 foot of water. SPEW!!! Could have been worse.
  13. My place went under yesterday, my sheds are destroyed >| . 8 confirmed dead now$, 72 still missing. Never seen anything like it in my life. Everyone take care, and my thoughts go out to the people affected.
  14. Have a look in the FAQ, there are endless engine choices you can go for. Or keep your K engine untill you are ready to commit to a full blown conversion, and have the time and money.
  15. don't need to pick on the fella lol.
  16. There seems to be alot of AE86's in Ireland. Hoping to travel to there soon(ish). Sweet cars mate, welcome to rollaclub :P
  17. Ive always hated auto's, i don't trust them, and i like to drive the car manually how i want. Unless they are pourpose built to take a flogging.
  18. Thanks Evan, i think most carbies are the same lol. If you strip the top of a screw, its a bitch to get. Grab a pair if vise grips, force farker out! Or a cold chisel, works well.
  19. Absolutely love it mate, very nice work. PM me, i get lonely :( . can't wait to see a vid of her running.
  20. I havnt worked on a K carby before, how hard is it to ckeck the primary jet/ bowl? Id give that a go.
  21. Sweet looking rims, but being 9" and -13, i reckon you will need some mods to your guards to help them fit. Thats alot of dish (allottadishy  ). Post pics if you end up getting them, will be interesting.
  22. I would also be inspecting the jets, and taking the top of the carby off to check the bowl for crap at the bottom. Probably worth checking your vacuum hoses are all good too. There are a few threads on here concerning 4a-c carbies, might be worth a search. Good luck.
  23. Ive owned 3 AE82's, and they have all been awesome cars, one of my favourites!! My last twinky with mild head work suspension etc had no problem keeping up with my mates WRX. I love being able to brag about that  . With minor mods and treated well, they are crazy fun cars to drive. Best of luck, Luke.
  24. Ive read through this a few times. Feel sorry for ya mate. I had some black fellas steel our excel a while ago, but didnt figure out that they had to push the clutch in to start it haha. They left all the money in the ashtray, and $200 speakers on the back seat lol. People like this deserve a good floggin!! Best of luck.
  25. Phuckin spot on. At the moment i can't think of much else either. And i hope you are good with wiring too, running the loom, relays etc etc. This will be a big project, and if you have doubts about it, don't do it!! Been there before myself. Wait untill you are financialy ready, and have all the tools and know how to pull it off.
