  1. ^^^ :y: Hmm, 4340 billet crank balanced of course, arias pistons, shotpeen rods, acl race series studs and bearings all throughout, fully balanced and cnc blueprinted bottom end, o-ring block, dry sump, trd metal head gasket, neat port and polish job, oversized valves, trd or double springs, hks 272 degree cams, pretty stainless turbo manifold, disco potato, 50mm wastegate, flowed custom ally intake plenum with 1uzfe throttle body, stupid injectors, and the most expensive engine management unit you can find :P
  2. Hacked?
  3. The 4afe makes 78kw from what i read, and the smallport 4age makes 100kw. I test drove a turbo 4afte seca years ago running 6 psi, and I wasnt impressed at all. Id look into a 4age conversion personally.
  4. I think it would be umm...impossible to bore, even stroke a 4A to 2.6 bud. I would have thought a decent workshop would be able to tune your carby properly.
  5. Sounds awesome, waiting for pics
  6. Phuckin sick corolla mate, very nice work. And yeah, the wheels set it off! Any other plans for it, or just enjoy as is?
  7. :y: Or even save your coin up, and go all out on a K engine, or maybe look at a cheap conversion. As said above, just a cam won't do much on a stock donk, depending on the specs i guess. Do a quick google search on cam lift and duration info, there is heaps of helpfull shit on the internet, and it will help you understand how it all works.
  8. Will be an interesting project to watch. Reckon itll piece together nicely. Shame about your AE86 though. Good luck man.
  9. Wow mate. That must have hurt, even just to look at it. Glad your ok though. And best of luck with the current project. Luke.
  10. Yeah, but they are friggin awesome toyotas. What was the overall condition of the wagon? The Mrs wouldnt let me have a look...I was soo keen on it.
  11. I was wondering who was gonna pick up that wagon. You are being greedy kristian, your hogging all the toyota awesomness. I think you should give the cressida to me  haha. Nice collection mate, id love to see some more pics of the new one too. :y:
  12. Drink lots of beer :rolls: Just make sure everything is organised, and it will all go back together and she'll be sweet.
  13. Just make up a simple board with holes drilled and numbered for each valve. Thats what i did, it does the job.
  14. omg, i think i came a little.... I don't have sound on my computer atm either. They are some well treated, well respected corolla's, and congratulations to the owners. Sexy, sexy corollas! Wish i was there.
  15. Poor bugger, hope ya find it man.
  16. Hahaha, golden!! Some people have an awesome sense of humour.
  17. Spot on. I'm a welder by trade, and have done my own little body jobs at home with my gasless. Its pretty tricky and shitty using gasless. But, we can't all afford $2000 WIA's or lincons. Gas isnt cheap either :( Make do i guess.
  18. Sick! Love seeing the wheels ya put together man! Can ya tell me the name of the company in NZ you get your bits made up??
  19. Na Rob, it was a multi point injection setup. Ive seen a few people have sucess with single point, or throttle body injection though. Simple cheap form of injection hey.
  20. An alternative- Maybe?- I used an N13 pulsar injection setup on one of my ae82's, which then got turbo'd without many drama's. The simplicity of the injection system attracted me to it. Prolly not much help.
  21. There are a few guys on here that have done conversions, and write ups on them. Have a squiz through the technical threads maybe. Good luck.
  22. I tried that, thats why i went broke
  23. I'm in QLD mate ;)
  24. I'm with redwarf. Go beams, 3sge, or 3sgte rwd format! Or, bang for your buck, a 13b turbo. Cheap and easy to come by halfcuts, and huge HP potential.
