You should be able to track down one at repco etc relativly cheap. Have you looked around?

It works off an exhaust valve, or butterfly valve in the exhaust before reaching either of the turbo's. Watch the vid, it explains it well. Once the smaller turbocharger is close to its limit or a pre determined boost setting, the valve will flow all exhaust gasses to the larger of the turbo's. Once the boost pressure drops from the larger turbo the valve starts to open and flow through the smaller turbo. I prolly didnt explain it very well lol. Anyway, back on topic, itd be cool to see a twin turbo 4age, twins or compound, either!! I think some setups just have the wastegate fully open on the smaller turbo once the larger comes on boost. I'm still researching a little.

Yes, i know. But you may be able to afford to buy a nice street/daily whatever, and buy a cheap shitter and spend fack all to get it handling and going sweet. If you can only afford to mod your daily street car, don't risk it on a track, all sorts of things happen! My mate had it happen at willowbank, his only car, huge ego, too much boost and a big bang. What I'm getting at, why would you invest so much in a streeter, then take it to a track where its almost certain to break, or for you to crash? I'm not sure how to type what i think atm, too many thoughts.

I understand the GTR fascination, but...um...why are we looking at a wrecked skyline? Why was it posted? don't want to be rude, i just don't get it. Is it in an AE71/AE86, or a fwd corolla? Either way, extractors + zorst, a weber if you can afford it, look at a cam grind perhaps. Like Des said, if its a points dizzy, pick up a cheap eleccy one. Might get a little more poke, but gotta weigh up the costs, and if its worthwhile. Good luck.
