yes, but are you taking into account that most cars lose 1/3 of there power (flywheel) through the driveline? Realistic figures- Gen III - 300kw (top of the range) =200kw =320rwhp 3k - 77hp or roughly 48kw (top of the range) = 40kw = 64rwhp so if you take that into account, a top of the range Gen III has 5x the power of a 3k...

hey, i know there was a sort of related topic before, but like i said, sort of related how much would it be worth to buy about 5ltrs of paint? Preferably enamel, metallic - don't know about the differences in price but....

if i can get round to it, i'll paint up the surrounds myself for you... did the inside part come gloss black or flat black?

oh yeah, and prepsol is awesome for preparing surface...

jesus, that paints schmick look, i know this is almost a completely different thing, but i've gained a bit of experience in painting pushbikes (i think i'm getting alright now :P ), and the cheap paints are shit and easy to get runs on. spend the money on getting the good paint unless your a bloody good sprayer. i use dupli-color, its in a can but i know you can get it in tins. make sure ur prep is good or it'll turn out shit, you wont notice the inperfections in the primer coat but they come out in the final coats. afterwards, enjoy ya work! ps. remember bog is your best friend

hey, got a few alright parts here, off my coupe. - blue front apron, no rust, straight - tow bar - fuel tank - all glass - rear bumper, straight with no rust, chrome faded but will come out with polish - louvre for coupe make an offer, alot of the rest of the car is there too, if you want something ask and make an offer...

jesus, thats overrated... can't wait to see it when finished, it'll go awesome... with my taillights, the lenses are good, but the surrounds need a bit of a paintjob, easy enough...

checked both my rollas, and can't find where it says diff ratio, it just says 4spd manual on engine plate... on the sedan I think it is a jap diff (unbolts at back) any idea of what ratios it is? does anyone know which cars came with which diffs (pref. ke30 and ke55) and did ke70s share driveline with ke55s?

how do I identify the Jap diffs (their respective ratios) and which cars would I find the shorter (4.5) ratios in? I'm sort of interested in a 81 Wagon (is that ke38?), but only if I found the 4.5 ratios in it? Would I find them in that? Also, what ratios did the ke36 (is that the wagon that was based on ke30?)

yeah, i thought that would be the case. beware of an unlicensed 'project' in primer, its probably just had a bogjob over the rust on the panels... was skeptical... but yeah, anyway. have a good one!
