Nah the ruling is. If the engine runs unleaded as standard it has to run a cat. I know that. But even when I change to an unleaded motor, I'll be buggered if I'm gonna f@$k around with my exhaust putting in a big hunk of crap.

Apparently the fuel injection systems on these early motors are VERY poor. Hence why it has the twin solexs instead. I take it youve got an aftermarket computer for the KE70 so Id be using the loom thats already in the car and slapping the injectors in an EFI manifold that I might be able to find for you.

Commodore/falcoon are probably your best bet. If your worried about turning into a bogan put a sticker on the windscreen "id rather be drifting my 86". Theyre cheap as hell.

Towed a couple of cars with Dads VR BT1 (come stock with a tranny cooler I believe...its got one none the less). Corolla was a breeze. 110 on the M1 with the aircon going. Celica was a bit more tricky (caws it was quite a bit heavier) but we had no problems. Even got on and off the moggil ferry no sweat.

Ive lost things in between the block and the starter motor (not knowing that I had lost them) only to find them months down the track. Last time I went to the wreckers I (no shit) took a rachet and a 12 and 14mm sockets and some vice grips....vice grips are god.
