A genuine TE27 or TE37, in overrated condition... A 2000GT... A KE30-bodied ST185 Celica GT-4... Most likely however is a KE36 van (..ooh, I have one of those...), something nice in the engine bay (4AG-te or ze/ 2TG or 3TG), wicked suspension, good strong drivetrain, good seats, seam-welded and caged, superlites... MMmmmmm....

We got the R32 back this arvo. Cops found it not far from where it had been taken. Luckily (I guess), someone can't drive very well, and broke a Caster Bar in the suspension. Minimal damage to the inner guard, but THANKFULLY not a whole lot else. Took the Sub from the boot , and the face from the CDplayer (just to be c**ts!!) It appears to be nothing structural, and a replacement caster bar, and wheel alignment should see her right. (minor cosmetics too, naturally) Very f@$king lucky, as it could have been a hell of a lot worse. Immobilise your babies, peeps!! Today was not a nice day!!

Hey guys, My mate had his baby R32 GTS-4 (2dr single turbo 4wd) stolen Lastnight (Thursday/friday 24th/25th August) from Hobart. Its rough black with black 15in wheels, No bootspoiler, large primer/bog patch on passenger's rear 1/4guard. He is devastated, after only just replacing the engine and turbo, and driveshafts!! Any info/sightings contact me thru PM!! 3rd R32 in hobart this week apparently. If anyone knows anything, please help.... :y:

As NWA said in their track "prelude" "The Motherf@$kin' Saga Continues..." I finally arranged with 1gttelola to come up to his place and grab the front end out of a shell he has. I had organised a rolla wagon (the ONLY vehicle I could find that had enough space/ie big enough payload to put the whole front-cut in), and that fell thru about 30mins before we were due to leave!! I considered driving my rolla up to get the parts, but the fact is that its now 2 months out of rego, and with my luck, I'd get caught!! I am f@$king pissed off, as I was so close to finally getting underway on the repairs... f@$k :bang: I'm NEVER gonna get the f@$king car fixed!!

From experience... 6deg is BULLSHIT!! My van had 6deg camber after fitting the wrong model Sigma lower arms... It was violent, nasty, and down-right unsafe to drive, steering weighed a ton, and it actually NOT fun!! Find an OLD SIGMA (need to be a really old GE model). Grab the lower arms out of that. They are visually Identical to the corolla ones (press-in balljoint and all), except about 1in longer. Replace the bushes, so they are nice and firm, and bang them in. They'll give you about 2deg camber which is all you need!! And transport will be lucky to pick up on it. This is your best, cheapest and most practical option...

Mine was full rally spec, built by Murray Coote. He drove its sister car to win the ARC in 1988!! Apparently, the cars were twins, all bar the paint schemes...

68sec at Symmons... 250BHP Group A Mazda 323 4wd Turbo rallycar Mods: Group A/Works build engine VJ17 turbo, O-Ringed block, works pistons, rods, cams etc, alloy sump, running on avgas 40mm Bilstein coilovers, bigger brakes with pagid rs4 blue pads MASSIVE let down was the non-works gearbox... wrong ratios, so lag felt eternal!! unsteered like a demon on worn out 205/65 15 Goodyear taxi tyres (no shit... scrap from bob Jane... and way too big in the arches... HOW desperate to race??), but would still spin the front inside wheel coming onto pit straight!! Guard rub so bad on the back that it would fill the cockpit with smoke coming thru that corner!!

Easy to work on... Easy to drive... Bucket-load of fun to drive hard... Easy to mod, with so many interchangable parts from bigger siblings (ie Celica/ Corona)... KE30 2dr sedan is one of the nicest looking 70's cars ever!! Big, but not too big, small but not too small... ...and COZ THEY AREN'T A f@$kING GEMINI!!! :) Current perchant is KE36s coz they are quirky little wagons, but still have the sporty element (kinda like a 2dr Range Rover)

A word of warning tho... Fitting extractors to Ks creates a dirty great flatspot, and makes them pig-root under light acceleration (like on-and-off the throttle in slow traffic) Its apparently because the original manifold had the 'hot box' setup where it heats the inlet manifold... With extractors, this doesn't happen anymore. Any suggestions guys??

I was told that technically... A dB meter is meant to be used ONLY in an open area of atleast 100m square, of flat concrete, with the reader no less than 50cm from the exhaust outlet. It has to be set remotely, so that there is nothing for the sound to bounce off in that 100m radius (that include Mr Plod). 96dB is the max legal limit for a logbooked PRC rally car, and yep, thats at 6000rpm. Revving up to 2k rpm is bullshit!! The bloody police prey on people who don't know any better!! They have to be seen to be 'actively enforcing the peace', when its all just tallys and quotas... Instead of crap like what they stopped you for, why not hunt down people who bash other people and mug them, burglars, and litle punk-asres stealing cars!! Priorities Mr Officer, Priorities!! FFS!!!
