  1. I don't understand exactly how it works, but I can either go on the waiting list to get it done publicly (could be a year or more), or I can fork out a bit and get it done at a time that is more suitable I did it twice, first time was when I was riding my BMX trying to learn nose manuals. The second time was about 4 months later when I was playing futsal. The second time was pretty stupid of me, my knee had stopped hurting months ago and felt totally fine so I just assumed it had heeled. Derp. I didn't realise ACLs don't really heal themselves.
  2. If you have sealed housings go and buy some semi sealed 5x7" housings. Otherwise the bulb will be a H4.
  3. I tore my ACL and I'll probably have to get surgery. I can't afford this shit.
  4. Ahhhhhhh I missed your post. Next time ;)
  5. ^yeah that is kinda weird. I like that the guy just happened to be looking back when the photo was taken like "dafuq you doing?"
  6. Pfft, you can't ruin KE70s. They're already shit.

Farrrrrk what happened to this thread! I haven't done anything to this car in ages. It's been on the same tank of fuel for the last 3 months :blinks: Someone hit the track with me? I'm also going to order some bulk 20W-60 Penrite racing oil, anyone in Brisbane want in? It comes in 5L or 20L containers.
  10. Costco is coming to Brisbane apparently.
  11. Repco Prolift jacks, get the proper one with the valve release integrated into the handle (twist the handle to release). They are always on sale.
  12. I would also like to add that a GT40 coil can be used with an external ignitor 4K-U electronic distributor.
  13. I'm using an AE82 thermo fan/shroud combo on an AE71 radiator in my KE70, I just made up some mounts and bolted it on. The shroud covers about 3/4 of the radiator. Or you could just mount a universal thermo fan, which is super easy. I'm pretty sure there is an engine driven fan for 4AGEs but they would be hard to find as they would only have come on the RWD 4AGEs.
  14. The top hose position is fine, but the bottom hose is on the wrong side. You can still easily make it work, you will just have a really long bottom hose and it will probably require a bracket to keep it up off the swaybar. Alternatively you can use an AE71, AE86 or even a Hyundai Exel radiator.

Looks cool! You going to do a 4A conversion?
  16. I hope Nissan actually make this, but maybe with a different front end.
  17. Coilover options: - Off the shelf - Custom Off the shelf: The only ones that I know of are for AE86s. To fit them you will need (no mods required, just bolt the parts on): - AE86 coilovers - AE86 hubs - AE86 calipers, rotors (ADM or JDM) and caliper mounts - AE86 steering arms Custom: You can use any MacPherson type struts, but you shouldn't use just any MacPherson struts. Do some research on what is most suitable for you. You will need (mods are required(usually)): - Struts of your choice - Everything that directly touches your chosen strut assembly with the exception of the car body (sometimes you don't need to change ball joints or tie rods) - Coilover sleeves with upper and lower spring seats - Coilover springs (you have to choose spring constant K and spring height) - Camber plates or strut tops - Dampers that will fit your chosen struts (sometimes they are available in different lengths) - The ability to weld or to know someone who has the ability to weld Note: you can also make custom coilovers out of AE86 struts, but I think it's a waste of time and money considering that companies like ShockWorks and BC make base height adjustable setups for the AE86. Also making coilovers out of KE70 struts is an even bigger waste of time and money.
  18. These are Toyota's codes, they will be stamped on the compliance plate under "Axle". So I assume they will to apply to whatever factory diff is in the car.
