In a recent topict in the NT section of BoostCruising, people were asked to discuss their backyard rally cars. A few people listed Corollas - one guy just had a picture with the words "The Goblin" listed above it. Here's the picture: This definitely goes with some of the other cool cars that live up here, or are being built up here, including our red Starlet, as well as a JZA80 Supra that is currently being built by someone with a 1FZ-FE which is going to receive 12 throttle bodies and two turbos. :D

  8. Ok, so this may seem a bit odd, but I'm going to put it out there and see what sort of response I get. To keep myself moderately fit, and pay enough tax for Mr. Howard and his shiny-arsed cronies to leave me alone, I do deliveries every morning for a bakery. Its also nice to have some sort of regular paycheck coming in. (As my other sources of income are anything BUT regular) Now, as many of you may be aware, I'm leaving the country for a wee while in march. A month to be exact. This is proving itself to be of some concern to the owners of aforementioned bakery as they're just a little mum-and-dad operation (albiet a busy one) and I'm finding it difficult to organ…

I have a customer how has inherited a 96 Corona (ST190) and his tail lights have gone out, he wanted to check the furse box, but he can only find the one under the bonnet, I suggested kick panel or to the left of the steering wheel, but he still can't find it, (he can't bring the car to me because it isn't registered). Hey, just wondering if anyone else has experianced a tire blowing up from just sitting around?? This is the tire from my Hardtop 55. It was sitting in the afternoon shade beside the house when all of a sudden it let out a massive explosion. I didn't find it till days later. The tire looked to be in good condition prior to this.

I was trying to explain the concept of rollaclub to a mate the other day. After crapping on for about five minutes about how good my next car is going to be, this numpty F**K had the nerve to ask me if i could afford a rolls-royce! It was then i realised the vast majority of people don't know what a 'rolla' is. Does anybody think this is cause enough for me to never speak to this person again? Has anybody else had this happen to them?

  23. Here goes my story. Tonight I decided to go out for a cruise with my best friend Renee. So, we decide to head down to Glenelg and we went the back way through a suburb called West Beach. Well, i'm driving along and see something on the road and think "oh, its just a paper bag or something so it wont matter if i hit it". Well, I was damn wrong on that decision. I hit this so called paper bag at 60km/h and i hear a massive thud under the car, like a rock had hit under the car. So I pull over and check out the car and everything seemed fine and then went back to check on what I'd hit. To my suprise I'd just had my first encounter with a Tortoise that had …

My phones sim got de-activated by Creditech (telstra debt collectors) and I worked outa payment plan with them to pay that off. I'm trying to get my sim connected on pre-paid which I was told can be done. Creditech said it can be done but thier department can't do it so have left a notice or something on my account saying that i have made a payment plan and they've given the ok for my sim to be re-activated. After being hand balled around i get a "goto telstra shop" or "it can't be done" after several times trying i've just ended up frustrated and about to throw my phone. I need this number re-activated for work/personal reasons. Gone into one of the local telstra sho…

Whoa. 2500 whole posts. And to consider that I did about 1000-1500 of them in about a month (around a year ago)! Time to reflect on the influence that Rollaclub has had on my life, haha. Bloody addictive site, I don't know how many hours that I've spent looking over the site or the amount of people that I've met through the site.. letalone the information that I've gained from the forums. While we still have the steady input of dickheads that want to ruin it for everyone (man, don't get me started) we've still got the same good yet decent people that make this club a club that one should be proud to be in... Thanks guys, you know who you are - your the people …

just wanted to share..... as in the header, I got bored today and looking at my car feeling a bit disappointed about my shopping day yesterday yielding nothing but a set of number plate covers (which are pretty cool).. yesterday when I was washing the car I was looking at the exhaust thinking it's a pity it's not shiny... then last night cruising I was looking at other peoples exhausts .... woke up this morning with a burning question: "will autosol make my exhaust shiny?" found said autosol, and answered my question, IT DOES! I must admit I must have looked stupid sitting in the middle of my driveway polishing the exhaust of my car, but who cares! So I got a b…

Holy crap batman. Today I had my first day off in what seems like forever so I went shopping for shiny bits for my car. I went to a couple of places to check things out and I started by qualifying my ride, ie: "Hi, I own a factory turbo and intercooled Corolla Sportivo" and I'm after ..... TWO of the places I went into, (Car Toys and Motoquip in Mile End) the guys said to me "are you sure?" me: "yes" them: are you sure it wasn't done aftermarket? me: *rolls eyes* YES!!!! what IS IT with people????
