Welcome to Townsville... where the desert meets the sea. Trivia: Did you know humans actually LIVE here? No really... like thousands of them. God knows why. Sweet mother earth approacheth with alarming rapidity. I learn later the pilot was in desperate need of bladder evacuation. Vehicle collected, Townsville abandoned amidst much haste, the journey back north began immediately... aaaand promptly stopped again 80k's north with the temp needle so far to the right it was fighting for space with the tacho. Cause of problem established... Milkshake anyone? The dreaded BHG... Every liquid on hand emptied into radiator, 80kph, 50 kilometer stints, main highway,…

I swear I didn't see this last year, but can't remember, did RollaClub's clocks change to Daylight Savings time?? I don't like it. Its out by an hour. Reminds me of my childhood and having to work out the time on pay TV cause they were too cheap to fix the timing/delay the footage.

Hey All Well after a long time unregistered sitting in the backyard, My road car is starting to take shape. I have almost had my P's for 9 months and havent had a car to drive around in besides little errands for mum and dad (booze run, going to shops when they have been drinking or they are just too lazy to do it themselves etc.) but thats another story for another day. Dad originally purchased this car for $700. Dad used it as a work vehicle and loves it so much he has even offered to buy it back off me if i get sick of it. Through my parents deal (they pay 1/2 for my first car) i got it for $350. I have gradually done up my car to make it look a bit more respect…

A city councilman in Utah, Mark Easton, had a beautiful view of the east mountains, until a new neighbor purchased the lot below his house and built a new home . The new home was 18 inches higher than the ordinances would allow, so Mark Easton, mad about his lost view, went to the city to make sure they enforced the lower roof line ordinance. The new neighbor had to drop the roof line, at great expense.! Recently, Mark Easton called the city, and informed them that his new neighbor had installed some vents on the side of his home. Mark didn't like the look of these vents and asked the city to investigate. When they went to Mark's home to see the vent view, this is wh…

:ninja: -Ok, today i went to the wreckers. Its my third time there and i'm walking along when all of a sudden i see a giant black cow come out from between two cars?? WTF?? It scared the shit out of me. Plus i've never been around a cow before so I ran. Then i came back later to take photos. I then realised that, that was the reason that there is massive cow pies everywhere. (Luckily I haven't stood it one....Yet) When i went to the checkout and asked about their weird guard dog, they told me they had 3?? Any who. Who can top it?? Jon.

Does Alcohol have an expiry date?? I only ask as I have been in possession of these Jim Beam Long Black's for a few years now and I've decided that tonight I'm drinking. I don't drink often, actually very rarely. I'm hoping they don't make me sick, I have work tomorrow. Well... If it makes me sick then I can call in sick. And on the night that my parents go away. (Insert Evil Laugh Here) PARTY :lolcry: Anyway... So it says aged 8 years but adding the 2-3 its sat under my bed for it makes it min. 10 years. Expiry was 06.06.06

Hi, After many days of disposing of about 80L of gas from a small commodore gas tank I now need to cut it in half. I have filled it with water just to displace the gas and plan to cut slow adn as I do the water will pour our and cut it witht eh tank sitting verticle so the gas (if any still in there) is above the water so less chance of a small pop. But is there another safety precautions I should take while doing this? Or can anyone recomend a way to do it? Cheers Cameron

Hey all, Its my birthday today and I got a voucher from red balloon for a driving day of my choice. There is a lot to choose from but I have narrowed it down to Formula Fords and V8 race prepared cars. They are basically the same day in different cars and I'm not sure which out of these to pick. Or another one I just looked at is V8 dirt buggies. Anybody who has done these driving days or driven these cars please help me to decide. Thanks, Mitch.

I havent noticed a thread about this yet. So where has the Database for Members rides gone? I noticed the link in my signature doesn't work either.

Colin McRae, Richard Burns and Possum Bourne 3 fantastic rally drivers taken too soon. Imagine how his wife feels to lose your husband and especially a child, what could be worse. I know if I lost my wife and children in a accident life wouldnt be worth living. Condolences to his poor wife. R.I.P Colin :D ;) :P
