Well, as the title suggests I am now without a Rolla for the first time in 17 years and it feels kinda sad. The old girl was picked up last week after selling on Ebay. What makes it worse is that I think she is going to be stripped of its parts and dumped. Guess another KE20 has gone to the big wreckers in the sky :)

It has a slant six for now, and a push putton auto I got it running and was lauging at the crank journal slapping the rod and smacking it into the starter....I will put the 318 into it!

Picked this up today. Its been sitting under a tree in the hardcore rainforest near Kuranda for about 4 years... It has a wee bit of rust. And, to add some irony, it has one of these thingies It does, however, have a nice slick T50 and all the other conversion bits I need. Funniest bit was, I whacked a battery in, shlopped some fuel down the carb and it fired up after about 10 seconds :P

Heya, I found this website today: www.donotcall.gov.au The Do Not Call Register allows you register and make it illegal for telemarketers to call you.... apparently, if you register, and you receive telemarketing calls more than a month after you register, you can lodge a complaint online at www.donotcall.gov.au I HATE having them call me trying to sell me crap I don't need... Ok so check this link out Click This kinda thing happens fairly often up here, and being in the tourist industry I am quite often consulted and employed to look after various logistical aspects of the production. Last time it was the movie "Fools Gold" with that annoying Mahonachie chap and amongst other things I was responsible for the maintainance and upkeep of 6 semi-rigid centre console inflatable boats. Same black ones the SWAT teams and Navy use. These things were brand new imported from NZ so they required NO work whatsover, so I pretty much spent 2 months doing f@$k all other than checking the oil in the outboards and checking the air pressure in the infla…

Hey, guys. Okay, this is directed at the older members. I haven't seen one of these before and i think if i restore it to what it use to look like it may be worth a bit. My brother and I were/are painting this old Queenslander and found a couple of these in it... Now its been painted this colour and the other is green. Not that it matters. We were just wondering if anyone has seen them before, maybe as a child and could remember what colour they were?? Now from the back they look like they may have been a plain gun metal colour and I'd assume the lettering may have been white. (Mainly cause that's what the label was coloured in that era before it was …

  30. Hi Guys, In my line of work we are now having a few little issues with 2007 office products, being: word, excel and power point. Basically, if somebody say does a 2007 excel spread sheet, and emails it to you, you can't see it and it bring up that "choose a program to open this file" box. So, download the converter pack from the address below and no more dramas! http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...43-C6BB74CD1466 Cheers, Si.

You know how you see a corolla, you know it's a corolla but you're not too sure which one it is, and you'll feel like an idiot to ask so you don't mention it?? I'm not really familiar with the earlier models (KE's etc.), I wondered if it would be helpful to people (like me) if we had a post (a single post) of the cars and the pictures, then you could quickly search the thread and then, with your new found confidence mention that you saw a nice KEXX or TEXX or ZZXX or AEXX, would that be helpful to other people too?? It may also help people that don't know ANYTHING about corollas to start as a reference point if they're looking to buy one or just see what's available... …

Hi People, Today was really, really interesting..... I was on my way back to the shop this evening, (it was dark) and I saw some flashing red and white lights off on the footpath at ground level. I couldn't see what it was and couldn't figure out what it was so I did a U-turn and went back to investigate...I was first on the scene... It was a push bike lying on it's side (from a distance) I started walking towards it and couldn't really make out anything until I got closer a person!... heart in my mouth I ran towards him , the bike was still tangled in his legs, he'd hit a fallen tree and gone flying over the handle bars. I assured him that he wasn't alone a…

Just wondering if anyone keeps an eye out on the road to see if anyone is checking out your ride while you drive past?? I know i do. Today it got me thinking. Have you ever noticed that when you cruise past a bus stop they rarely look?? I've just come to the conclusion that, if they were into cars, they'd have a car. I know some look, but rarely. Anyone else notice this??

Pretty much nothing wrong with it, its got a 4K-C hi cam seems to be the original motor, has done about 198K, every panel is straight apart from a few dents in the bonnet and roof, still got the OEM radio in it lol, a few bits of rust that isnt that bad...although there is a bit that needs attention.
