Hey everyone, My wife gave birth to our first baby today at lunch time. We named him Matthew, he was 4.67kg which is a heavy baby. I couldn't hold back the tears - what a great day. Jono Nice easy birthday to remember: 8/08/08.

I first heard rumblings of this a few years ago when I went to Perth for Redbull Air Race but it looks like they're actually going to do it. Airframe looks like a Rutan VariEze clone which could provide some interesting racing. Like they say this will be the NASCAR of the skys because the varieze isnt really designed for aerobatic flight. It'll probably work fine for the dull Americans but RBAR is still where its at as far as I'm concerned. The F1 of the skys literally. Well, some of us like me don't mind showing a bit of pictures from a car accident. So maybe if anyone would like to share their stories and maybe pictures? I'll start with mine. Pretty much Skyline, R33. Going too fast and the driver had bald tryes. We took the corner 2nd from the top a little too fast and we eventually under steer straight into the safety rails. We walked away fine with just some bruises on my neck and stomach =]

Hey guys, I am going on a bit of a road trip starting next weekend with my two sisters. We will be in Sydney, Melbourne, Newcastle & Coffs Harbour. This is a kind of serious vent/rant.... for those of you that don't have heath insurance or ambulance cover (usually ambulance cover is included in health insurance)..... I understand that not everyone can afford health insurance, but for about $40 a year you can get ambulance cover (and save yourself a $600 ride in an ambulance). Here's the thing.... late last year, my friend had an asthma attack and had to go to hospital in an ambulance. He didn't have ambulance cover or heath insurance.. fair enough, he couldn't afford it. I mentioned that for a measly $40 a year he could at least protect himself if it ever happened again... we never spoke about it further..…

Just thought i'd chuck this up as it is a toyota and i thought a few people may be interested. I compete in RC drifting (won a couple of comps) and part of the drifting scene is to have a shell/body that looks the goods. Theres all kinds of combinations you can have...this shell was bought from japan and shipped over here and fortunately for me i won it in a competition. It came as a clear shell with no lights or anything...so what you see is about 5 - 6 hours work. :D Video Check out www.brizdrift.org for more info on RC drifting. :yes:
