This is my new parrot called Reizo. He's 14 weeks old and an Australian Crimson Wing Parrot found up in Northern QLD and in the upper NT too. He's hand reared and cost an arm and a leg, but well worth it.

Well today is officially the hottest day in the 16 years i have graced this planet with my presence. It's 47 degrees out the back, and our air-con isn't making it bearable. At dad's factory, they didn't stop working all day as their boss is a tightarse and he believes that as long as its under 60 degrees in the factory its okay. Dad informed me it was 58.4 degrees, unbearable, yet if they stopped working they would be sacked. Will this heat in Melbourne just go away? Maybe it's what drove that nutcase 35-year-old man to stop on the West Gate Bridge, get out of his car and throw his 5-year-old daughter over the side to her death. Let's hope he burns in …

Has anyone seen this movie? My Dad, Sister and her boy friend urged me to watch it and I'm glad I did. Before I go any further, here is the link to download the movie. In the time it took to watch that movie, I learned more than I will in a long time... it is amazing. I already had a healthy disbelief in religion and skepticism about the "War on Terror", but this really showed me truth of it all, as well as a whole new array of "scary" (note the irony) facts. So if you haven't watched it, watch it. If you have watched it, please discuss your experiences after having seen it.

I got Subway for lunch today and I wanted something to drink that keep me awake for work. They only had Mother so I grabbed one of those. The taste isn't that great but it kept me focused for a while. The down part to these drinks is that a few hours after them you can start to feel kinda weak if you don't eat food/drink water... so I was wondering if anyone else has had this experience and also who prefers what type of energy drink - if you can be bothered, leave a reason as to why you like it. I tried to list as many as I could.. haha.

Hi folks! My names Aaron, first timepost, thought i would give a little introduction. I'm from Canada, province of Ontario, I'm 21 years old and currently a student at university for Biology. I really enjoy going offroading in my 4x4, i have a 1989 suzuki samurai (might be called a sierra, sj413 or other names in Australia, no idea about NZ.) which is basically the old crummy leafsprung version of the suzuki coily. The reason I'm here, is because i have received an older (i still like it more) suzuki SJ410 hardtop model! this thing is beat up and rusty, but i have no problem attempting to fix that. The previous owner showed me that it had …

OK, I like car movies... what "straight" bloke doesn't?!! Some of my favorite would be (in no particular order): Vanishing point (from 1971), I've watched that over and over, just great! Gone in 60 seconds (original and new version) Black cat run (not a great movie, but great chases) Cannon ball run Initial D (not nearly as good as the old scool movies but worth watching) Deathproof (slow to get into, but well worth the wait) EDIT: forgot to add Mad Max 1 & 2, also great chase movies! Also Dukes of Hazzard... That's all I can think of at the moment. What would you add to this list??

Is any one going on, or does anyone know of any cruises that are on for tonight? I got the car back yesterday and I want to take it on a fair cruise, but don't want to go by myself. I reckon I'll head out about 8ish if I don't hear anything... Lesley :y:

hey guys just wanted to find out something about on the spot fines. what happened was my old man was driving down swanston down in melb he stopped at a red light but about half of his vehicle was over the line this being at 2am and cops are everywhere. 1 dude got him to pull over and gave him a on the spot fine BUT it wasnt given to him at the time the cop just got his details and received it in the mail today a few days later approx 3 days. the fine is red and white assuming its the on the spot fine. BUT the thing is the fine isnt signed so... can he get away with it? if this one isnt signed most likely the original or copy doesnt have a signature of the officer either?…

Hey guys, I've just found the car I absolutely MUST have, but the only way I get to own it is if I pick it up first thing Saturday morning. So - I'm looking for somebody with a car trailer/towing means and who lives somewhere near Regents Park. I need a car picked up from Redlands and brought back here, beer and $100 will be supplied to driver if they can do it. Any help you can give me would be extremely helpful.

With street racing related deaths on the rise across North America, governments and police forces are having to try new and drastic measures to combat the illegal and dangerous activity. On Wednesday in California, several known street racer’s rides were sent to the crusher to send a message to other racers that their hobby will not be tolerated. Here in Ontario, a couple of loogans were “racing” on a major highway last weekend and caused a major accident which resulted in the death of a selfless truck driver who drove off the road rather than crash into the existing accident. The two that caused the incident have been charged under new street racing laws. In …

Okay so the last 5 months of last year I had my ultimate job. Then, shit hit the fan. I'm now packing shelves at Woolworths. I used to work in a crash repairers with a chance to become a apprentice panelbeater. Well, I knew I was going to be one because the boss, boss' son and boss' wife all told me so. BUT I went through a dark period of my life. I was driving like a twat and doing stupid things to piss off the law. One day I went insane...litterally, I took of from work and never went back. My boss has told my Dad to tell me to go see him (they're long time friends). And today...is the day. I'm going in to town to help my friend with his car....Guess it's a …

Help, Last Thursday the 20th of November this car was stolen from Northcote in Melbourne. It had been in the family for at least 20 years and needed some serious work to get it back to life. There were rust holes as big as your fist in the roof. It had a vinyl roof originally. I love restoring old things and my daughter needed a car. We both worked on it, well I did most of it but she made the new roof lining and helped lots putting the engine and gearbox back in after the respray. Anyway the details. It's a Kermit green KE 30 4 door sedan. Interior fully restored no cracks in the crash pad seats custom grey cloth. Tinted windows. Four speaker stereo with 6 x 9s o…
