hey all just shipped the levin off to brisbane so it was time to pick up my new project i found a 82 flat front in beige, 1 owner, 100,000km with all books and service history up to date its a 4spd SE with aircon drive like new, with new tyres, smooth gear box and the lot. its got a few TINY rust spots on it but thats about a week away from being removed. the paint is pretty much immaculate all over, as i found tucked away in the books that this was done with paint protection back in its day. ... um not sure what plans i have for it as yet, but starting small and doing it properly. Hey all, New to the forum so firstly would like to say hi :wink: I just bought myself a KE70 slope front corolla for $400, runs great and has the 4 speed manual, has a 1.3 engine with ''hi cam'' badges on it :wink: Its got its fare share of rust, in behind the rear bumper and in the rear wheel arches, luckily i have half an idea on what I'm doing so i have made this little thing my project car. The car itself has every reciept spent on it from day one and has been a local car from brand new, and the car has only done 153,xxx kilometres!!! Though considering this is the rolla club I might have to start some ride threads for my rolla's. Well I've actually had this car for a long time. it started as a Standard ke35 that i bought for $200, used it as a daily till the 3k decided it had enough. I then threw a 2tg in it and T50 box. once I got some more power I blew 2 diffs. so I upgrade to a TA22 rear end converted to leaf springs. It liked this better. I started racing the car at sprints. Then I wanted a bit more from it and installed the race wheel and raceseat, plus some neccesary gauges for safety. After having some fun I got it lowered, the old fashion way...chopped the front…

gday gday, thought id get around to showing off my project, its a ae82 fxgt, had a 4agte, but that blewup before i bought it, ive been meaning to work on it for ages, i have a gze waiting to go in once i get the bay sprayed. its got some king's lows, and a 2.5'' turbo bak exhaust, soon to be for sale. and yeah ill let the pics speak for them selves. i think i have some more recent pics but i can't find em, so yeah

well finally got around to doin some more to the hardtop stripped the bitumen matting outta the interior and got it to bare metal found a few sins under the bitumen matting drivers side foot well needs to be replaced along top edge inside firewall just under the dash and the trans tunnel needs to be welded in instead of silasticed in and then pabcoed over (how dodgy) previous owners seemed to like silastic and pabco for rust repairs :jamie: :D

help can anyone tell me how to remove the panel where the windscreen wipers are so i can clean it out and do some rust repairs

well its a 1985 RA65 celica automatic coupe its all original and when my old boy brought the car it was off the guy who's mother that pasted away owned the car since new apparently it has genuine 100xxx kms on the clock and is in immaculate condition inside and out it was un-rego'd but we got a roady done and it only needed 2 rear brake cylinders and and 2 new wiper arms and then passed with flying colours even the old bloke that did the roady was amazed at how the underneath of the car was when my dad took it to him so basically its my daily atm as my falcon has got a pretty bad power steering leak and well i don't have the money just yet to fix the beast so i am us…

Seeing as my KE10 Khanacross Special wasn't finished we decided to use the old AE 71 that had been hanging around for spares. After about 5 hours of stripping, cleaning, fitting the race seat, extinguisher, bonnet pins, alloys and rally tyres from my old KE 70 khanacross car and locking up the diff this 1600 3 speed auto was ready for its first event. The event was out at Riverside Oaks at Catai, 6 stages with 3 attempts at each. I double entered the car with a mate and apart from breaking a rear exhaust rubber the car went surprisingly well for a stocka !

SO, this is my younger brothers KE30 he got for dirt cheap, so therefore its in poor condition. Only good thing about it i think, would be the K50 gearbox. Which the previous owner installed I've taken it on as a project for myself, because of my love for cars ;P First things first was getting it running, with only 240,000kms on it i figured this couldnt be too hard (240k isnt much for these engines :yes: ) So, I put a new battery in it, new spark plugs, changed out the black as sin oil and the old oil filter, and gave the carby a good spray with carby cleaner. Hi all,This is my project I just finished. Took 3 years, I started with only a bare shell and imported a half cut from Japan. It won "Peoples choice" trophy at Japanese show and shine at Lakeside raceway a couple of weeks ago. It has been blue plated and is getting registered in a couple of days.The 3T turbo engine is original and only has 96000ks on it. All the running gear is KE55,I serviced the fuel rail injectors and replaced front and rear main seals before fitting motor, as it did sit around for a while. So i recently bought a 1977 corolla deluxe 2 door coupe for 900$ so far i havent got much done to it, besides getting drunking and smashing part of it with a bat. oops! Plans for now: Valve Cover Gasket New spark Plugs New spark Plug Wires Oil and filter change New Carb. New tail Lights/Headlight casings Body restoration. I currently don't have and plans for the engine, but thats because i don't really know what i should do to it! Everyone tells me to get a 4AGE or some other JDM import, but id rather just leave the KE30 in it, so any tips pointers and any other input on performencing the engine, please feel free to drop a line here!

Bought it end of 2007, and slowly been doing stuff to it since. It originally had 3au, 4spd man, s series diff, a few kms on body, was champagne, but had a quick respray in red. looks alot better! had most rust cut out too. Picked this one up last night, had been floating on Ebay for a while and no one else went to check it out. Original 98,000kms, now sporting a 5 speed, all new shocks & springs, new 16" alloys & tyres, new front end steering components and immaculate only needing a vacuum and exhaust flange gasket replace. Only thing i'll be doing is replace the wheels with some old skool 15" items or factory 14" with hubcaps & whitewalls.

Here are a few pics of cars i've had and still have!! Me in my KE17 in 1996 at the old Amaroo Park circuit sporting the "Brock" style open faced helmet! How my ke18 looked when i first bought it back in the late 90's. A 4AGE powered KE25 i had, sold about 12 years ago. My wife's 4AGE powered AE86, sold about 8 years ago to a guy in Melbourne, never seen again!. A one owner KE20 which i owned twice, current owner lives not far from me, now sporting a CA18 turbo motor! As i scan a few more i'll post them up!!

hey guys,, you might remember my first ke70 (choppies) the white one,,, well that is now a cube so ive been working on another ke70 its got a the 4k motor with 130000 kms on it,, rims are 15x6.5 pentulos 5 spokes painted white exhaust is 2inch from manifold back through to a 3inch mega phone striped interior,, still working on the inside,, things to do: finish the interior all black with cream carpet, bolt on spacers for some off set,, or get new rims fit new windscreen then tint windows,, the color is asteroid silver,, keep an eye on this for progress because there is lots to come,, cheers morgzz

just thought i'd post some pics up of my ke55,i was given the car off a mate,on the condition that i did something with it.;) so i chopped it up. i'll let the pics explain,but its going to the blasters next week then off to the painters for a house of kolor candy paint job. engine will be a 4agte, and hopefully it'll go alright :o

So a few mates and I have a stable of dungers we smash about in a paddock with, as you do. This is currently the cleanest of the group - for now. It's rocking a mad tight 300,000ks+ 3K... for some reason, not sure why. Locked diff. Bald tyres. Tow bar. TRD 80's rattle can paint job. Hey fellers my names jack new to the forums I'm 21 and run a carpentry business that bout all that exciting bout me haha Well tonight i picked up a ke10 coupe :) its straight as an arrow with slight surface rust on her, hopefully there isnt to much more to find when i rub it back :D its got a k5 with some work, ground crank, lots of head work, cam unsure of specs, raised compression, bored 20thou, extractors etc etc so should be a potent little motor :D ill take some pics of her tomorro in the day light can't wait to get her on the road

Hey, my name is Adrian, I'm a mechanic from Melton and I like KE70's lol. At the moment it's a stock 4k with a straight through exhaust to massive chrome cannon LOL, it's also a 5 speed. I've procured a 1JZ and I'm sourcing a gt35 to start off with and we'll see where I go from there. (I don't want to use the twins setup.) Also got a bunch of S13 suspension bits to go in the front of it. I'll be hunting around 300rwkw's and a reasonably stock looking car, wheels and ride height are all I want to change. I'll post some pics up tomorrow, it's nothing special at the moment but I'm about to change that!

Picked this bad boy up about 1 month ago as a bit of a side project along side getting my calais turbo wagon back on the road......its a 1983 KE70 Wagon, 4k, 4spd manual, 190,xxx kms on the clock. Doesn't blow smoke, lights work (sort of) and it drives pretty straight considering its age. This is basically going to be my car to learn rust repair, body prep and painting on. It's unrego'd so It doesnt really bother me long it takes to sort out. It has a decent amount of rust, but most of it I THINK i will be able to sort out.
