  1. http://www.rollaclub.com/faq/index.php?tit...K_motor#Lifters
  2. i would suggest using good shocks like pedders or kyb, not supercheap rubbish like monroe or gabriel. i had monroes in the front of my ke25 and i hated them, too soft
  3. that door must weigh about as much as a ke10 :y: here's my mate's fto. he's gonna love this
  4. go to clark rubber and buy some pool foam matting, the sort of stuff people use to pad rollcages with. cut it to suit, you could seal it to the body with a thin layer of silicon if you wanted
  5. as if a mini needs to get any smaller :D and what are you doing with that evil thing? sell it before you have to do anything to the cv joints or stupid clubman shifter mechanism :y:
  6. whoever invented doing this shit is THE MAN!
  7. SUPER PHAT :y: :D
  8. well my engine cost two and a half grand so i do care and i've had the head off, the bores are unglazed and fine, thanks
  9. and how long does your oil last? with two filters on the rocker covers, my oil would go black and drop 10psi in pressure within 500km, not to mention the big f@$king mess on the tappet covers. with the pcv system hooked up and working properly, i could drop the sump after a couple of thousand miles and it was still gold and translucent like new, and would hold 60psi during normal running for ALOT longer
  10. bargain of the century (or of the crown, as it would be, haha model name puns :y:)
  11. my ke25 would out-handle a wrx with 200kw at the wheels, you just need to find road twisty enough to be a disadvantage to a big car :y:
  12. there is an order you have to put lifters in? but they're all the same...
  13. did you hook up the pcv when you put your new carb on? you need it
  14. can you get a side on photo without the trees and stuff in the way of the wheels? :y: if you want a good chop, post on the photchop section of downundertruckin.com, dudes on there are AMAZING at using adobe
  15. ah it's just a movie :y:
  16. true. toyota should be able to get you one for a few bucks
  17. oh i thought he was missing the wires :y: lol
  18. holy crap, a 4ag isn't light at all, you must be pretty strong
  19. yes a button clutch like yours is designed for race-only use, where the clutch is never slipped. driving on the street, you are supposed to slip the clutch so you have a comfortable ride and you don't spin the wheels everywhere and possibly run into other cars seeing a button clutch wear out in a few thousand km due to street-only use isn't uncommon. everythis has its' place for street use, get a full-faced sprung organic center with a heavy pressure plate. with this setup, i doubt very heavily that you will experience clutch slip with a naturally aspirated 4ag
  20. and shaddow, who owned the actual turbo john used before john owned it, bolted his manifold onto several stock 3k wrecker motors and always killed them at 10psi decompressed, so you may be right still, jmac's was a dedicated drag car, not something you'd rely on for transport every day, especially at 20psi, that's just ridiculous
