  1. Whats its purpose? Lift pump or low pressure supply for carby(s)?
  2. Quit the arguing. Old fella has done nothing wrong and I think you need to pull your head in for a minute Kalby. He wasn't bagging your setup, he was making and observation and an assumption, you were the one who got all offended by it.
  3. Refer to your other thread.
  4. More speed!!! :(
  5. Nah you need to get the cable shortened as they stretch over time. New clutches make the situation even worse.
  6. Was the flywheel machined before the new clutch was fitted?
  7. Your "Mechanic mate" needs to find a new job!!! :bash: Yes you're correct in your assumption that the elec pump should replace your mechanical one.
  8. Not everybody uses facebook!!! :bash:
  9. Haha yeah you think thats pricey, see what SavanaGT would sell you a set of genuine T-Cup RX3 tail lights for! :bash:
  10. Yeah mate suzuki....... or Maruti! :bash:
  11. The only main difference you'll find between NA and specific turbo cam grinds is that the turbo cam with have a few degree more valve seperation to reduce blow-by. If you got a mildish NA cam grinded, I wouldn't be too worry about using it with a turbo later on.
  12. ^He's onto it. Sierra's have seperate transfer cases. You wouldn't have to seal the front driveshaft, just don't bolt a tailshaft to it. Good luck fitting it under the floor though!!!

    Hill Climb

Did you learn that from "that woman named Jackie" too!? :(
  14. any old coil one will do the trick.
  15. Red carpet is going to be hard to keep clean. Black is a much better choice in my opinion. :(
  16. Yeah thats what I did. Just ran new 3/8 rubber as the new send. You do need the return line on both the reg and surge tank. :(
  17. Thats not what our FAQ says..... http://www.rollaclub.com/faq/index.php?title=Manual_Gearbox Regardless, just fill it through the filler hole until it dribbles back out.
  18. Actually I think I might be thinking of the ZO6 not the new ZR1 sorry. I was only really trying to make the point that yes coils are better, but there is nothing wrong with leaves if set up correctly.
  19. I'm pretty sure they didn't make a head. They did however make a roller rocker kit for K's.
  20. Currently a thread about it in the tassie section
  21. hey hey hey..... Thats what might actually be causing your issue!!! As revs increase the exhasut may not be able to flow the required amount of gas at that engine speed, hence boost drops off. Which way does your turbo mount? Bottom mount like a stock SR20? If so you could probably use (maybe with a little modding) an SR split dump pipe like mine.
  22. I want some fixed backs Ben so the Monzas are all yours if you want them. Oh and Nichy if you want to grab it before the weekend you'll have to come around tonight. I'm off to Hobart tommorrow morning and won't be returning till Sunday arvo.
  23. Yeah you're on the right track with the surge tank. Just need to run the return line from the reg into the ST as well, then a return line out of the ST into the main tank. The fun only starts at 15psi!
  24. David (the norwegian the_van_man is referring to) is pretty damn crafty with a welder if you have a look at his other car. Yes it can be done but it would be a hell of a lot of work. I think you'd be better off getting a whole doner ke70 sedan, cut the rear floor out of both, and then weld the sedan floor into the wagon. That way the geometry for everything is correct. However you'd also want to bear in mind things like the fuel tank location in both vehicles. Yes coils are better than leaves, but there's still not really anything wrong with leaves if they're set up well for the application. Just think of some successful race cars of a by-gone era like and RX3 which ran leaves. Hell, ZR1 Corvettes can do sub 8 minutes laps of "the 'Ring" and they still run leaves. Personally I think for the money and effort required you would just be better off setting up the leaves well...... or buy a new coil sprung car.
