  1. From now on every message will title with "Re: Stickers" |blink|
  2. Third that. But if its what you want - KE70 struts might be the better option cause the springs are narrower then the '55, t-18 etc etc. But the brakes are the same size to the '55 so the best option would be either upgrading to the xt130 or t-18/ae86 struts and then converting them to adjustable coil overs for the needed room. Cause really its just so damn poofy running big rims with tiny little brakes. Other then that backspacing - get the correct backspacing and they'll fit.... Edit - i can't number things.... :D
  3. The other half got a new camera today So i got the black and white treatment
  4. Ok then Fook did your ae35 ever get close to whipping Reds arse ? |blink|
  5. Hey hey, i looked into one of those Hiclone things for the old ae82 seca. Shot off email after email to the company asking for information, cost, etc etc. Got a bit more info then what was on the website but no costings. Finely got the price - about 100 bucks for the product, about 250 to have it "specially" fitted (that is having all the maths done to find the correct position) and an extra 200 to have the computer re-mapped or some crap. I could have done it myself but they wouldn't have guaranteed the product nor the out come... And which part of a thorough study are you talking about ? Nimbin ? or the polariser ?
  6. White '70 with the plates "---OFF" ? Yeah noticed that in the short time we was there. Found a couple of things but we turned around and left, the bloody ATM's were out of order.
  7. When i had my 4age powered seca i had the longing for a ke30 as a project and now that i have my 3k powered ke30 for me there is no way i'd step back to a 4age. Maybe a bored and stroked 2t-g or a different pedigree
  8. Yeah i've noticed the same thing with a patrol that parks on the side of road. But it tends to stick out like a thumb. Always parked under a tree and no parked cars near it. Rechargeable batteries - why oh why are the phuckers always flat. Went to play the xbox before but the batteries were flat, grabbed some that i recharged a few days back - flat. Grabbed some others - flat.....
  9. Something so innocent..... Just remember to clean the mess, bro
  10. I don't know - i just spend my spare time here But i do know is that divers that go deep use nitrogen or is that methane ? I wouldn't have a clue i don't go that far down....
  11. Can do it, i've done it and i'm pretty sure there's a few hidden faces on here that have and are running without hub centric rings. Have a read - Wheels falling off and broken studs. Its interesting to say the least...
  12. And i did all the hard work for ya ;) http://www.rollaclub.com/board/index.php?showtopic=17023
  13. Yep
  14. Try this - jack front of car up and have someone put their foot on the brakes, and try to spin the front wheels. Do the same thing without the brakes on and try it again after a minute or two. By rights both front wheels should operate the same when the brakes are applied and disengaged. Its an easy way to tell if you have a seized caliper or if its sticking.
  15. Not much of an up date at the moment but... And something that i've been mucking on Been toying with the idea of a couple of gauges where the pocket is above the radio. Like the TE37 style
  16. The thirty year one i reckon would look sweet
  17. Well if you want to class a number plate as dodgy then the old one on my turtle had been repainted with house paint from what i could figure. The front number plate on my last car i bent into a concave shape more so cause i had a pair of spotties next to it. Got pulled over by the transport department for a few things but got left off with a warning and one of the warnings was that the shape of the number plate and/but more so the position of the spotties would block a speed camera reading so i moved the plate and gave it a bit more of a flexing on the ends. Thank you Mr RTA for that little tip :D He also had a go at the spotties i had on the back of the car. They had to be wired into the reversing lights or switch. I could have a toggle switch wired in as well so i could turn them on/off as needed :jamie:
  18. The T series motor has the cam in the block. But on the twin cam version the cam is replaced with a lay shaft so that the cam can be moved up to the head with its twin
  19. Me thinks you should change your name to "GaffaKE25" When i went to get my first car roadied the guy that did it failed me on oil leaks and thats the very same thing he told me to do. Head down to Car Lovers and hit the engine bay with the pressure hose and bring the car back... Mate of mine was driving around noosa one time and the little rubber mount thing that connects the steering shaft to the steering box broke apart so he used a towel and a length of rope to tie the two together - 80 turns lock to lock. About the only dodgy mod i've done is the right hand mirror on my old t-18 copped a wack one time - the spring managed to get broken and the glass fell out. So i used one of those $2 vanity mirror specials, super glue or something that never worked so a few zip ties did the job. Till the car hit over 60 kays and the mirror would fold back, aerodynamic reasons - it made the car faster but cause the car would pull to the left i'd tell people thats cause the left mirrors pulling the car to that side since it doesn't fold back.
  20. Noice. I'm off to try it out :jamie:
  21. Thats just freakin nuts :jamie: i wonder if i could do it to this place
  22. 2t, 2t-b, 3t - I'm pretty sure the heads are the same but the cams are different
  23. What cha planning ? As far as i know the 4k block is taller, so i'd be lead to believe the rods are the same length. I do have a set of 4k rods hiding in the garage some where but they still have the pistons fitted. If you want i can dig 'em up and get some measurements.
  24. So true. It'd be of interest to see what the come back be
  25. Or is it a case of a girl just cooked their arse :) Don't know if its a real gear grinder or not. But either way my cats preggo's at the moment and her farts are real   poor dear i think she has nose problems too
