R150 gearbox fits in a ke70/ae86 tunnel too

no it wont be, 940kg (ke70) x 2.7 = max turbo cap = 2538cc

hence why I'm building a turbo 2rzfe :) = 2.4L

I'm currently putting a 2rz into an ae86, I bought the front sump from the USA, part number 12101-75041. You also need the oil pickup and dipstick to suit, I bought them as well but the numbers are around....somewhere. you still have to cut a section out of the underside of the sump but no biggy really. and space the crossmember down 20mm

Unless you buy the ignition setup (possibly head too) from a AT211 corona from nz......dli ignition no dissy :)

there's a guy on ae86DC that has this setup, goes alright too.

3rz swap would be ideal :) Give me a few weeks and i can get kings into work.......

what struts do you have? I'd say the teflon coating on the s/c blades is cactus........

i redrilled one hole in the strut tower to flip my ae86 T3 plates left to right.

ok so i have been doing a 3tc into ke30 2 door swap, problem is the ke30 came with no engine. As far as starter and alt wiring goes that's sorted because the t18 and ke30 both had external alt reg's and the wiring was the same BUT, I have a large plug with a white wire and a red wire left and another plug nearby running off that one with a single white wire. I'm guessing they go straight to the battery with a fuseable link?? Problem is all the wiring diagrams for ke30/50 have different colour wires to my car and they don't match up! they never show enough detail! Could someone take a pic of their stock 3k/4k setup near the battery/starter please?? :D

doesnt 7k's and 7afe use the same rod's? if so get some SPOOL rods.

funny thing is the way taxumi tax is going the cost of a manual 2jz setup is almost the same as a manual 4age setup!! i saw a 2jzge + w58 for $1100 yesterday on chris JDM page.

legal engine capacity is weight of car x 4 = MAX CC, so a ke70 weighs 950kg?? so 950 x 4 = 3800cc.....thats for non turbo engine's.

i would have swapped you my AE71 wagon for this :D

meh, enough not to be a problem.

they do fit....just. i have used them before and had no problems, the knuckle just sits higher on the balljoint taper.

there is no other alternative buddy..........

Brakes aren't that different so not worth the effort, box will fit but have to cut out the shifter hole further back

Nope it's just easier to make new block mounts, if you can't weld them make them from wood if you have to and then get them copied...
