Sorry dude but they are different, Your spot on, they both have pretty much the same engines, the drivers side mount (ke70) has more angle? less angle? whichever you'd like to call it as opposed to the ke55, Obviously angles are different between the 55 & 70 crossmembers, Ae71 crossmember.......................??????????????????????????????????????? cheers phatke30!

And for cameron, I'm not a retard Dickhead! i should have made it more clear when i said "alter compression", some people might not have a mind and rip the pistons out and keep sanding til they take a mm or so off each piston, and yes you are right, it only alters slightly, this topic can go on for years, at the end of the day it comes down to what people have at their disposal and their choice of cleaning methods, and only idiots build "slap together motors" for their daily, unreliable!

Hey there fella, cleaning the top of the block? :jamie: i usually just buy that spray on gasket remover and after that has done its job i wipe the top face of the block with metho to dry up all the crap, then bolt the head straight on, if you use metho don't leave it overnight or it'll rust the surface.............not good. And as for the tops of the pistons, don't use a scraper or sand it as it will score the tops of the pistons and in cases can alter compression, remove them from the block and let them soak face down in kerosine for a week, If anyone has a better solution feel free to correct me, cheers phatke30!

Getting started on them hey? the wheels will be a piece of cake, the hard part is it will be a fiddley job, all you need is a can of etch primer, black paint, clear coat, shitload of autosol, rags and masking tape! ;) And bobs ya unkle! :lol: Hope the carbs come back like brand new, webbers arnt cheap, ps. shotgun the bonnet! cheers phatke30!

WHAT THE FU*K!? Yes mate, they are all production race cars and had 200rwkw and ran a 6 sec quater mile and can wheel stand in every gear and all had a supercharged top radiator hoses!

Personally i wouldnt be driving the car if its not ligit, not having a go at you mate although i have to say your licence is your life! without it your stuffed! lol! I could only suggest to maybe start fixing whats wrong?
