The 5K blocks are different in a few ways, so i don't see why they would have kept the outside of the bore the same when the inner is bigger by around 2mm?

Bit of a bummer to hear about those extractors Chris. Just a word of caution about the Redline filters to suit 32/36 webers, they tend to crack around the bolts on the base plate. There's actually a note in the redline catalogue that mentions that they will crack when fitted to escort engines fitted with these carbs (seems to apply to all engines with the 32/36, as i have one sitting here, with a cracked base plate off my 4K)

Just letting people know, the KM20 clutch cable has a thread on the end, with a rubber bush that sits in the cup on the clutch fork. Ideally, you want a KExx clutch cable with a KM20 end on it. Places such as Flexible Drive Agencies will be able to do a cable to your own specs.

Sounds like the only real option there. Wouldnt go shaving the bailey channel tho, not very thick as it is. If you see a set come up for sale at all, pass on a link and i might buy them and make some copies. I'll speak to a few people that have a collection of NOS parts and see how we go.
