Dude I’m 6.2 feet tall and I drive a KE10 every day of the week. In the 10 the seats don’t even recline and there’s no head rests. I would not want to drive from Brisbane to Sydney and back but would do it if I had too. I let my mate drive it and he’s about 6 foot and probably 100kg. He looked like donkey Kong in Mario kart. Yeah it was funny but cool and he loves my car. If you simply must have comfort get a bigger car.

Just do that and it should look alright.

Here's a link to a post of my sway bar on KE11. It has drum brakes still and I got a feeling that with wide wheels (6-7") or big brakes they may touch on cornering. I'm really hoping not though. White Line sway bar on KE11 It could be a pain in the bum if they do touch. Could require some ingenuity.

I would think that who ever you get to reset them can invert the eyes too. I think inverting the eyes will have the most effect.

Wouldn’t that be really soft? The equivalent to running one spring with lowering blocks? Could do it just to see how low it is though. I would imagine if you where going to do it properly you might need shorter struts with matching inserts. I don’t know about the back. Invert eyes, reset leaves and lowering blocks if you must I suppose? You would probably want stiffer springs as you won’t have much travel. Probably cut the bump stops in half.

This is how I do it. • Open the file you want to resize in Paint • On the toolbar select Image • Select Stretch/Skew • Chang horizontal and vertical percentage to say 70% • Save the file and check if it is small enough • If not open it again and change percentages to say 50% and see I always save a copy of the original picture.

Unfortunately found out the 4k clutch disc doesn’t fit on the KE11 4 speed input shaft which is tiny. Wish I had of realized before I put the gearbox back on. My 3k flywheel weighs 9kg.

Could this be the original Corolla ad?

Hmmm.

While I have the gearbox out from behind my 3k to change the clutch plate I was wandering if I could swop over my spare 4k flywheel and clutch that are in good nick? Would the engine be out of balance? I read somewhere that the flywheel and crankshaft are dynamically balanced as a unit.
